This show seemed so good at the beginning but just keeps getting worse. I'm legit suffering through each episode at this point because I'm too close to the end to just drop it.
U havent been watching the show have you? Acting his age would have been more weird im going to go more in depth…
I don't think you understand how abuse affects the brain..... like at all. Abuse doesn't make you more "mature", especially when combined with trauma to the brain from electric shocks. Lack of development can occur in people who are abused or experience lack of care throughout their youth. They can even experience regression. Nowhere is he being pouty or whiny, like what are you even talking about? He is rightfully angry, upset, and frustrated after being abused, hunted, and losing his memory all his life. His lack of mental development is very clearly a purposeful characteristic of Ji Oh. No they should not have casted someone much younger or made his character younger because that does not fit with the plot or story. The level of physical and mental abuse he went through is not comparable to that of those types of characters who just grow up "jaded".
Did anyone else find what happened in episode 13 incredibly stupid? Not only was framing him so stupidly easy but Baek Hee Sung turned into some genius out of nowhere. Like isn't this the same dude who hit someone with his car and tried to bury the body IN HIS OWN BACKYARD.
Gu Reum is infuriating. The scene where she keeps trying to get pity from Ji Oh for her parents disappearance…
Now she's saying if he killed her parents she will kill him. Like what? Did you just conveniently forget he would have been a nine year old? Not even mentioning he can't control his power, but he was A CHILD.
Im getting too when he blast da church for over small reason.. getting no sense
She dug up past trauma and kept screaming that he's a monster. He even said that he wasn't a monster until they made him one. Clearly he was abused at this church. I think you guys are focusing too much on the surface and should try to look deeper into the story and the character, rather than thinking he's bad cause he blew up a church.
From what I have seen, his electricity comes out when he is agitated or there is a spike in his emotions. Whenever…
I agree. He's been called a monster/not human probably his whole life so he definitely has trauma related to those words. Yet the Nun yells at him repeatedly that he is a demon and should burn in hell. Do people really expect him to just take it and not react at all?

Did we watch the same show? He was continuously called a monster and demon as a child, so he was literally abused. The lady continued to do it in the present so she clearly triggered his trauma. How is that a small reason?
Gu Reum is infuriating. The scene where she keeps trying to get pity from Ji Oh for her parents disappearance as if she's the one who has had the worst life ever as she's talking to someone with no parents, no memory, has been chased his whole life, and experimented on. Like did no one else find this ridiculous?
Yeah i also noticed that it's easier to predict the cases and culprits in this season. Also could easily predict…
If they all work together it definitely would be really interesting! I read the same. So unfortunately I think the chance for another season seems pretty slim :(

That scene when he fell made me so mad. Like is that all we get? Am I supposed to just forget all the awful things he did cause he tripped? Personally I really dislike open endings and while I like Doctor K's epic entrance at the end it certainly didn't redeem the ending. I hope for a season three too. Doctor K and Prosecutor Do working as a team to take down the bad guys would be really interesting. But unfortunately with the way the show is focused around forensics, Baek Beom, and Eun Sol, I'm afraid those characters and that plotline will be pushed to the background.

I ended up finishing it. Doctor K and the new prosecutor were the only reasons I continued watching tbh as they were the only interesting elements. Also, the ending is not really satisfying and they clearly left things open for another season. But the ending's twist was pretty fun.
I really liked this show to begin with but now its losing me. A lot is happening but the episodes feel boring to me. Even the characters feel boring now and I honestly don't know why. It's just over halfway but I really don't know how they will stretch this out to sixteen episodes. I think part of the issue is the apparent "mysteries" are pretty much all already solved/known. We know who the villains are, what happened to his parents, and the plans of the corrupt politicians. The lack of unknowns, especially from the audiences perspective, is making me want to drop this show.
Did he really not tell the police he witnessed a kidnapping until episode 6? I assumed he told them about it but it seems Shin Jun Ho had no idea until then.
It's unfortunate that they essentially had to cover up Lee Hyuk's attempted massacre at the end. I guess it's because of the confidential info of the target/radioactive substance, but shouldn't they have revealed he killed so many people to try to cover things up? They could have done that without mentioning the target..... but I guess its to prevent the army/country from looking even worse.
My problem with this show is how one sided everything felt. Gav seemed to put way more into the relationship and when this is essentially brought up during a fight Cairo just acts too cold and dismissive. Like I almost felt like they really showed how Gav felt, but as for Cairo it felt less sincere. I don't know something just felt off about how they dealt with Cairo's character once they actually started dating. Like the script kept telling about how he felt rather than showing it, if that makes sense? The ending also felt super odd with how quick Cairo did a straight up 180. Like it didn't seem like he figured out what the problem was or even reflected on himself, he just didn't want to leave. Then all of a sudden he shows up completely understanding where he went wrong. Like, what? The show definitely put a lot of focus on really deep and important problems during the first part. But the second part with the fight, jealousy, and moving just felt really flat to me. They didn't even really deal with the moving part, just delayed it. Liked the first part, not really the second.
I can't see this ending as anything but disappointing. It seems like a third season is not going to happen which makes it even more frustrating. The fact that they know who is bad and it's so obvious but all of them just walk away free is ridiculous. They only needed like two more episodes and they could have wrapped this up. The show would have been even better received and a third season could still have happened. This decision just baffles me. With the way this ended there should 100% be a third season, otherwise we literally just watched an entire season where the villains won. LIke am I supposed to be satisfied that he fell of the stage? Is that really how they try to appease the viewers who just watched corruption, really obvious and badly done corruption at that, win?
Does anyone else find this show really predictable? For me this makes the show less interesting as it's so easy to figure things out that it's just frustrating watching them come to the conclusions and find out the truth so slowly.
