Kang Hyun may be the most annoying character in any show I have watched jesus christ. He is literally straight up delusional. Just a heads up but episodes 19 and 20 are infuriating and make absolutely zero sense. I recommend reading a recap and skipping those episodes to save braincells.
Is this entire story based around corruption? I feel like so many shows recently are focusing on the same basis of corruption, and it's becoming pretty overdone for me. So as someone who is so tired of corruption storylines, is this worth watching?
So this was essentially a villain origin story? Chao Yang literally got everyone killed but gets to live happily ever after. The ending was definitely well written. I just wish I knew before going into this more of what to expect. With how the first few episodes were, I can tell you I was not expecting a child to be the ultimate villain.
Ahh the comments. if YOU feel comfortable with it doesn't mean that other people have to. I like normal couples…
People cast shows based on the actors talent and how they fit the role. Looks aren't priority unless I guess if it's a drama trying to appeal to teenagers. This is a more mature show with a serious and complex plot. I don't understand why you keep bringing up your drama taste when commenting on a drama that clearly doesn't fit it? In my opinion there are plenty of dramas out there that better fit what you want to watch. It honestly seems like you just came here to hate because this drama is rated well. Especially with how you keep calling everyone "old men", it just makes you sound immature imo.
I am so tired of these usual old men, where are the eye candy. Also the big age gaps continues and people seem…
I'm confused, what age gap are you talking about? The only pairing in the show has an age gap of 8 years between the actors. 30 and 38. That hardly seems like a big age gap to me? Also, Jang Seung Jo is very attractive imo and I don't think you should avoid shows just because they may not have "eye candy". You might miss out on great shows.
Shit. Period. I gave this drama a chance, I've waited for the end to watch it all at once (and skip through the…
What substories are there other than the sister's divorce? Because everything else is connected/part of the main plot. The sister gets way better as the show goes on. She has a redemption arc that actually was very interesting in my opinion. Also, she ultimately has a really small part anyway so it's' odd you focus on this so much. Also, the story obviously progresses, they get smarter and things get solved. But I did get frustrated with some of the side/bad characters like Yoo Sang Mi and Detective Nam.
They straight up ruined her character to "deepen" the plot or whatever. She is so weirdly attached to her boss…
Yeah the stuff about her dad's case makes sense why she trusts him and admires him. Her attitude towards him gets confusing in episode ten though. Like she yells at him for all his manipulation, but then he comes to comfort her for some reason and she just accepts it. Like to me it felt like pretty obvious manipulation. He made it sound like he was trying to protect her, when it seems obvious waiting to release the recording was all for his political agenda. In addition to acting like he hid it for her, he brings up her father's case again basically pushing the idea he's a good guy and she should trust him. Seems very manipulative. Also the head rub thing made me very uncomfortable lol.
About episode 8.I am praying that the female reporter did not do the obvious. I believed on her.Can not buy that…
They straight up ruined her character to "deepen" the plot or whatever. She is so weirdly attached to her boss and continues to listen to him and trust him despite him obviously being sketchy and corrupt. Also, she reveals the recording after his death to Detective Oh saying she made a mistake. The way she says it so casually and says she's "angry at herself" so she doesn't deserve his judgment does not sit right at all. Also, why does even detective Oh act like he would have died anyway? Like no one knew that for sure. What is with this odd pessimism when they previously were so motivated. I think he knows it's important but is just comforting her.
ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME????????????? THEY REALLY KILLED LEE DAE CHUL?????????? WOW I CANT BELIEVE THIS. I AM…
What he did during the trial was really dumb. Like he trusted the prosecutor who clearly is out to get him but not his own lawyer? WHAT, HOW COULD HE BE THIS STUPID OMG.
detective jang jinsu's wife is so selfish wow so this hoe doesn't care if an innocent man gets executed as long…
Yeah. I feel sorry for her with her speech about fearing for her daughter's safety, she seems to really care for her kid. But in the end she's just going along with the people who killed her husband.
Yes she is such a b*tch :/ And I do not like Do Chang's sister too. I hope it is just a plan to make the corrupted…
I hope this is right, but unfortunately I don't think it will be. Her talk with Detective Oh could be taken two ways. She wants him to thank her for hiding the evidence so Dae Chul loses his case and detective Oh keeps his job. Or she's going to do something to help their case which will cost her her own job. Unfortunately based off of her saying this was all orchestrated and it's no ones fault I'd say it's the former. This comes off like shes convincing herself she's innocent (when she's not as she hid evidence).
I was liking this at first but as the show is going on the main character's stupidity is bothering me. I'm only on episode three so I'm hoping he becomes less frustrating but judging by the comments I doubt that.
I love detective shows but I don't know if I will continue with this one. I don't mind when these shows deal with some corruption but this story is centered on so much corruption it's honestly frustrating to watch.
Also, Jang Seung Jo is very attractive imo and I don't think you should avoid shows just because they may not have "eye candy". You might miss out on great shows.
