I still remember this drama. I have seen it around 2006. It used to air on DD (Doordarshan, Indian National Public Channel at that time). After watching this, I used to think how come these ladies have so much hair that can make rounds of their braids and keep it on their head.
I never understood the drama as I was only 8 back then but their hairstyles I remember to this day.
this show rating will go down. they should not have let viewers wait for one week just to see last one episode.
Personally I don't like episode 11. Nothing happened in 10 episodes but suddenly our female lead found out everything from notebook drawing. it makes sense that she found he was Chan's roommate but he was the one pretending and messaging her felt impossible to find out. I mean they could've been friends and share some details with each other like normal roommates. She shut him out of her life completely. Atleast ask him if he was part of fire accident and if same accident was the reason for his burn scars and hearing problems. But she didn't care at all but still acted like he disappeared from her life towards the end of episode. If I loved someone I would've atleast found out if he is alive or not considering his health and issues in brain/skull. At least listen to him and then move away. Even high school couple is more maturer than female lead character.
I hope our ML dies and she lives with this guilt forever Huh! ......... Just kidding
I mean her mother refused to leave even when there was fire. So it was not intentional murder right? They were not gonna stop redevelopment because someone is waiting for their missing child... not just from yesterday but from 10 years!!! I liked everything but I didn't like how vibe was so dark whole time in the police station. Even their meeting room had yellow light in it. I mean can people see in that darkish yellow room?
this is third time watching her. First in Our beloved summer, then in Dear M and now in Our universe. I LOVED her in our beloved summer, she was pretty decent in Dear M as well. But in Our Universe she feels like a different person. Idk why she always seems sad in this drama ..... maybe its the script but she looks unhappy even in happy scenes. I hope she choose a better script next time that aligns with her energy.
I would have liked the drama if there was no SML and just melodrama between ML and FL; insecurities, past, new responsibilities, etc. But SML ruined everything and FL is playing so dumb about everything that its hard to watch. She wanted to be as cute as Bae Suzy for SML in the starting and now that he is interested, she became so boring. Her character has no energy and it feels like she is tired from life, love, job, everything. Only scenes worth watching are between tae hyeong and woojo
I'm on episode 5 and I think the teacher is the serial killer. I think Kenya might know something about this too. I might be completely wrong though :)
It was really good.. but again the twists wasn't really a twist. I wish the husband was more well written.. and…
The didn't do justice to his character... In starting "husband having affair" assumption, ignoring Yun su(showed in video recording). But towards the middle, he loved her so much he last piece was Yun su back and they also shared cute moments while making that. And in the end, egoist person, not listening people out, always in his own world etc. They changed his character to whatever they want to make story good.
This series is absolutely amazing... acting, music, everything. You will keep on watching episodes unless you find out the truth. Not a single boring episode. It deserve legit 9/10 I didn't say 10/10 because towards the end you will feel some inconsistencies. Like why was Ki Dae call history was not checked when Jin YeongIn clearly called him multiple times before he was killed. Also why Yun su never mentioned this in investigation when in flashback Ki dae did told Yun su about this. There is inconsistency in Yun su character as well, she was literally smoking cigarette minutes after her husband death and showing no grief in the first episode. "Her unique, easy to smile, dress to impress personality" that's why she was doubted in the first place. But after she was arrested, she never showed that personality, she was normal throughout the series and even she showed more grief towards Mo Eun than her husband. Overall its a great watch. JUSTICE WAS SERVED AT END.
It seems like you didn't watch the full series closely. Let me address your points:About the photos: There were…
You are right, I was wrong about the graduation photo. His dormmates photo is also present. And I am sorry for missing that. All the other thing I said, still stays true to how this series made me feel. "After FL defending him the first time in restaurant, he started liking her" -> Still factually correct. About card scene, it doesn't feel right to me. "What would you have preferred—that he force it out of her?" Obviously not, but that incident made her sad and it needed a conversation, which didn't happen. Maybe I expected too much from him as a 5 year old mature boyfriend.
It feels like you ARE saying the drama is perfect. I'm just sharing my feedback, feedback/opinion is very personal, just like how you said "not everything needs a heavy, melodramatic conversation" maybe few people like heavy conversation to understand a character on deeper level.
TBH this was my first comment and I didn't do a good job here. I should have also highlighted the good points why it deserve 8/10. Your reply did make me realise that I should check the facts before commenting.
Dropping at ep 4 I just can't get my head around that Abyss ball. Why would someone leave that ball with ML? Why? I mean it make sense that they revived him after accidentally killing him but to leave the ball with him so that he can revive whoever he wants, doesn't make any sense. And why would Abyss make FL looks like her former colleague, it doesn't make any sense either. To me, this feels like bad writing to keep the story going. I'm fan of both PBY and AHS but still can't watch it.
I like this show. It has lot of comedy and I loved it. FL dedication towards ML. I hoped that Nakastu should be ML as we see lot of good scene between FL and SML. ML is more sad type and no fun.

Nostalgic
