no, the story has deviated since a while ago, they are mixing and matchig the elements. Like WR's love interest is BCF, BCF did not turn evil bec of drugs, LC did not mind getting raped. Rapist isnt FYK (hasn't been revelaed yet but BCF has confessed)

depends, if you want a feel good drama where the protag is always winning then its not for you, but if you like plot twists, bad guys get upperhand midgame etc, its actually getting better. the novel is very dark but thats actually why alot of people like it

if it stays true to the novel, it has nothing to do with survival nor revenge, she is just vile. The rape seems to have turned on an evil switch in her. this seems very harsh but if you read the novel you end up wanting her to get raped again as punishment for all the evil she will do
