For me Xu Kai carries this drama. They wrote the FL to be a total blockhead. She's written as both an "innocent…
let me propose the most opposite view, i quite enjoy this drama, but for me Xu kai is the weak link acting wise or maybe its just how his character is written, i can never tell. His facial expression is that of a tsundere, theres only two modes "stern face/angry or slightly grinning" but the thing is his character is not a tsundere, he outwardly shows his concern and care for the FL. Having said all that, i don't care. why would you need top notch acting in a light fluffy rom-com. Im enjoying it as it is, if there was better acting maybe i wouldn't enjoy it as much.
Its because she is new to professional pro-gamer where she lacks about experience in this field and she is learning...whereas…
i hate to pile on, since quite a few have already responded. I guess they really like the character.
I wouldn't call the FL a blockhead but she is childish and kinda goofy. I think she is adorable the way she is written.
re the biting, everyone with whatsoever personality they have should react the same way when someone forcibly pins your arm against the wall. Most women are taught to kick the assailant in the nuts even.
3rdly, and this is my gripe. I hate it when people complain about character growth. Why is everyone expected to grow? most dramas occur in a one or two year time frame, some even just in a month or two. If everyone keeps "growing" by the time people reach 30, they would be levitating and have visible halos.
furthermore, if the FL is "smart, assertive, or whatever" then it takes away what the writers are trying to convey. Just imagine what if Mr bean was "smart, asservtive etc" no one would watch it.
lastly i do acknowledge that its always the viewers prerogative/preference on what to watch and what to expect from it so your rant is justified in that respect.
I am already disappointed since they kissed and started dating, this became trash, and it had such a great potential…
yeah but its theirs to sell. we don't really have any right to object if that is what the authors want, mind you we are just speculating here as they may have plot twists along the way
I am already disappointed since they kissed and started dating, this became trash, and it had such a great potential…
its not unfair to the author as they paid for it. if anything im pretty sure the author would rather they buy it and change certain aspects than they buy a different drama
100% the romance is taking this story in the wrong direction.
the red haired girl. I was just saying she's one of those types were she likes whoever she likes and doesn't care whether the otherparty feels the same way etc
I am already disappointed since they kissed and started dating, this became trash, and it had such a great potential…
imagine if they made this exact drama but did not buy the rights to the webtoon, the author will probably sue them saying they plagiarized and made it hetero to avoid paying royalties.
I don't agree with having him stay single. Why just because he isn't gay then he shouldn't have romance either?
Don't make an adaptation of a webtoon that is not a rom-com, of you want to make a rom-com drama. Don't make an…
im just guessing but the frontrunners probably wanted the family trauma and the poor kid part but did not want to do BL since they probably wanted a more mainstream audience (they probably bought the rights to avoid any plagarism/copyright issues).

i understand where your coming from since you were expecting a dif story bec of the title but basically the frontrunners wanted the family trauma and the poor kid part but did not want to do BL since they probably wanted a more mainstream audience (they probably bought the rights to avoid any plagarism/copyright issues). Since they own the rights unless stipulated otherwise, they can change the story however they want.
I came here for the bromance all i got was two scenes every episodes and the whole hour about forced romantic…
actually i thought it was very logical, when your childhood crush keeps toying with you and has a revolving door of women, then someone else shows you affection (the campus prince no less), more than likely you would switch to the other guy.
