I'm a big rewatcher, always have been, but I'm scared to rewatch some of my top favorite kdramas because what if I don't feel the same the second time around. Some of them I watched when I was new to kdramas and I might be more critical now than I was before. A lot of them I partly rewatched right after finishing them though, or rewatching scenes while watching, but not done complete rewatches months/years later.
I do like rewatching dramas I've rated 8-9,5 and a lot of the time I will give it a higher rating after rewatching it. Some of the ones I've enjoyed rewatching are Suspicious Partner, Psychopath Diary, My Wife Is Having An Affair This Week, The Legend Of the Blue Sea. But I haven't done full rewatches of my 10/10 dramas, simply because the memory of the first watch is so precious to me, but I might do it at some point.
So many popular dramas are mediocre in my opinion (Vincenzo - long and boring, CLOY - cringe, Our Beloved Summer - annoying FL, creepy SML + boring, IOTNBO - just wasn't feeling it, Weightlifting Fairy - annoying, dropped it twice). At this point if a drama is hyped I kind of expect to not like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I was kind of expecting that, he's been through a lot so main focus for 2022 should be his health. Waiting and hoping to see him in a new drama in 2023, and of course Sad Tropical is a must-watch. 💙
