Great article! Haven't seen these titles, but love your interpretation on them, on-point and indeed engaging to check out! I don't really follow C-dramas but few months ago, I stumbled upon some posters and noticed how beautiful they are, I made a list of them, although not sure if they are related to the plot since mostly are about to be aired.

Probably because the other episodes are from Indonesia, Singapore & Malaysia which are not covered by MDL.

Very informative. Will look into these films. The perception of the psychologist on prejudice is interesting. It's hard not to have it, but that makes sense for such sects can gain followers in the first place.
