i've only been watching this at dinner but i think i'll watch nonstop now. It started a little slow but I just finished episode 7 and it's heartbreaking. I have a feeling i'll cry next episode.
dang, she's aging incredibly well. She's about my age and I'm watching her in 'Love in Time' and I totally believe she's 25, she could even pass for younger. The guy on the other hand, he looks like he's in his 30s.
This is an easy watch, but just from watching the first 2 episodes, I didn't think it's as good as A Little Reunion. The characters on A Little Reunion were more interesting and funnier. I will continue to watch this, but so far, the storyline is a little ridiculous.
Nan Li and Yu Lan hate each other in episode 1 that the dinner made me uncomfortable watching them, and by episode 2, Yu Lan calls Nan Li and goes to her for support in taking down the teacher? They talk like they're friends, one complaining to the other. Also, they just happen to be in the connecting industries.
This is definitely a star studded film, unfortunately this kind film doesn't focus too much on the story. There's way too many people to each have their own storyline and be able to tell it well, in a 2 hour movie. This is really meant to be an ensemble film.
Why does Yoo Hyun still call Hani ‘ajumma’ even though they start dating at the end
Yeah that's super weird, I thought it was weird around ep 7 or 8 when he started liking her. Not a fun nickname or anything, but ahjumma? Lol. I guess that'll always be his pet nickname for her.
I'm happy the ratings for this drama went up to 8.0, it deserves higher. Yes, some things weren't explained as well as they could have, but that's true for any time travel show. They wrapped up the show in a good way. Plus the mystic part of the storyline isn't the main story.
The main focus is about forgiving your past and finding yourself, to start over again. I loved the interaction between 17 year old Hani, and 37 year old Hani. They were so different but taught each other a lot.
I'm NOT disappointed by the lack of 'romance' in this. There were enough, and again this wasn't a main part of the storyline. Romance isn't always about kisses and saying how much they love that person. It's about being there for the other person through actions, and showing them you care. I thought they did that very well here. Both the ML and FL grew through their interactions (ML more so, he was quite a bit more immature than her in the beginning) with each other. They started as friends and really supported each other, and slowly began liking each other. This is realistic to me.
Is this a slow burn romance? Everyone is saying not much going on. Debating if I should watch this or not
Yes the romance is slower than most romcoms, but I think the drama was always supposed to be more about her facing her past self than falling in love. The romance so far is mainly them working together and supporting each other and growing close, that in itself is sweet and seems more natural. I'm really enjoying it; I'd recommend giving it a try.
I guess this is what happens when cancel culture hits K-entertainment...no show will be safe from now on, and producers will be so concentrated on historical accuracy that show creativity will go down. Hope you're happy, netizens.
