BEST SEASON!

BEST SEASON. I will start by saying this because so many people trash on it but shut up! It’s perfect.

First of all, Jang Uk is hot as fuck in this. Powerful, badass, husband material. The things this man says and does… holy shit. I was SCREAMING. Fuck, I’m in love. I don’t think anyone will come close to this and how do I move on???? Like. HOW? He was a puppy in the first season but in this one he was A MAN.

Now, the elephant in the room… Naksu (or her thousand other names) and the "new" actress—MY LOVEEEEE. If you don’t like her, that's your problem, leave me alone!!! I want a thousand more episodes with her!!! She’s PERFECT. I honestly could not get enough of her. So cute. And she’s not less strong for letting go of her sword! She’s just a girl, man. She was never an assassin for the sake of it, she was manipulated! She never wanted a life like that and she CHANGED her destiny. She forgave herself and moved on from the things she did, and that’s true strength! If you can’t see that, then I’m sorry for you. Naksu deserved to be in her own (beautiful) body.

And yes, they have insane chemistry. I actually prefer this season to the first in terms of chemistry and romance. And this makes it my favorite season. SO ROMANTIC. So much yearning!!!! AAAAAAAAA. I love, love everything about it. I wish there was MORE.

I gotta mention it again, JANG UK. My man was SO FINE this season. And of course, SEO YUL. GREAT ACTING. GREAT CHARACTER. My baby I love him to death. SO MUCH. He deserved to find love, I wish there was an arc for that.

This season concluded the story and it ties everything in a satisfying way.

Alchemy of Souls is, today, my favorite show ever. Don’t know if anything will ever top this perfect feeling.

SCREAMING!!!!!!

How should I separate part 1 from part 2 for a review? I’m in the minority that think both parts fit perfectly together to create an amazing (ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT) story. But I’ll try.

Alchemy of Souls has a perfect introduction that hooks the viewer immediately. Naksu is a badass assassin who finds herself in the body of a blind girl, and due to her circumstances, she comes to form an unlikely-to-work-out alliance with Jang Uk, an outcast boy. Together, they form a bond so deep, so full of love, loyalty, protection… It’s BEAUTIFUL. But also so fun! They’re full of antics, always bickering, and it’s delightful to see them together. And again, SO MUCH LOVE. You can see just by the way they look at each other, it’s insane. SO GOOD. GAH!

Now, other than the best romance ever, the story is also full of action, politics, humor, and plot twists. It kept surprising me and I was invested in every second of it—Alchemy of Souls truly made me obsessed and so happy! I just KNEW I’d love this show from episode 1 and I was right, this show changed my life.

And the ending??? TRAGIC MASTERPIECE. FUCK YES. I know many people are angry about it but holy shit man I did NOT see that coming and I was HYPED. Lmao, I know alright!!!! My heart was broken but I love a good tragedy that keeps me hooked for the next season.

And now I wish I could watch it all again for the first time.
