I dropped it after episode 5. The dad hadn't improved at all. I didn't drop it just because of him, but he certainly didn't help. I just felt like all the men in her life were exploiting her in one way or another.

Can anyone tell me when the main leads begin to really interact as adults? I do love the leisurely pace of the drama and how thoroughly the characters and their situations are being established....but I have to admit that I'm getting a little impatient with the slow build-up. Knowing when the main leads start to interact will give me a major narrative milestone to look forward to.

The drama handled some stuff in ways that I found deeply upsetting, even triggering. On top of that, I was pretty unhappy with the way they were developing some of the secondary characters I liked. And THEN I heard that the drama ending was disappointing. So I started to feel like I was putting myself through a lot of emotional turmoil for very little pay-off.
