I have mixed feeling about this drama

I had higher expectations considering the cast and plot in general. But it turned out to be a bit disappointing. At first, series seemed to go slow and to be honest I did not mind that at all. But suddenly in the middle of the episodes, it rushed so bad I could barely keep up with.
Woo Shik did an amazing job playing Lee Tang. He portrayed the character so well. Emotions and actions were on spot. But I don't think that character was written that well. He killed people by accident, he was feeling guilty and mortified. But then we discover that he actually has some kind of power!? We never got hints about that in the beginning as it all seemed accidents. I'm still confused about that; was it actually because of the power or was Lee Tang just lucky that happen to have a gut feeling?

Roh Bin's character did not make much sense neither. How did he find Lee Tang, why was he so ambitious and confident and why he never got caught especially when Nam Gam and the police kind of knew about his past with Song Chon. He mentioned having 2 other partners, one Song Chon but we know nothing about second person. His explanation why he had bad blood with Song Chon did not add up. Roh Bin having everything planned was unexpected and that was the only moment I was surprised. I do understand him taking all the blame tho.

Second part seemed a whole different drama and it focused more on Song Chan. I couldn't understand his character. He came back to check whether Lee Tang was just like him or not. And why was there even possibility of these murders having something in common? It was a gut feeling for everyone including Roh Bin, Song Chan and Nam Gam. There was no evidence nor any other connection. Song Chan's past made me feel empathy towards him but I'm not sure that was necessary.

Nam Gam was pretty messed up. He wanted to catch a culprit, then decided to avenge his dad who turned out to be a bad person. I understand why he stayed silent about Lee Tang tho. He did not mind about legal consequences because he knew his dad had sinned and from his point of view, everyone deserved a chance including himself, Lee Tang and a dog.

I think, it will have a second season as there are so many unanswered questions. And the ending was open. I finished the drama because of the actors and cinematography, otherwise I would have dropped it.

reviews are proof that people can’t pay attention to anything.

based on the reviews here, it’s a bad movie. but what I think that it’s definitely one of the best movies I’ve watched recently.
some say it doesn’t make any sense. like bfr did we watch the same movie? detailing was crazy and I pretty much caught everything up at the very moment. I mean if you can’t connect the dots isn’t that on you?😭
some say it didn’t meet their expectations meaning it wasn’t about overcoming crisis. so basically you neither watched the trailer or saw a poster. again ON YOU.
another said it an AI propaganda yet somehow Black Mirror is one of the best shows out there. that’s very much double standards.

Wasted potential, might I say?

I binged watched first 7 episodes and was pretty confident that by the end of the series, it'd my favorite kdrama of all times. Unfortunately, it took a different turn. It felt like there was 2 parts and they followed whole different story. Gave off more of a different kdrama vibes.

In the first part, cinematography, story, acting and everything was top tier. Scenes in Canada must've been one of the mesmerizing things I've ever witnessed in kdramas. Characters seemed to be very well written and actors played them so well. Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung had a crazy chemistry and I loved how they portraited their characters' emotions. I loved Do Ra-mi's parts cause I thought writers would focus on Cha Mu-hee's mental well being and explain where it came from.
But it never happened. In the 1st part, I felt like it was just her struggling with some kind of PTSD and abandonment issues - meaning her telling herself she doesn't deserve to be loved and she'd never be loved.
But in the 2nd part I was lowkey confused and didn't know where it was heading to. Then I though maybe Do Ra-mi is Cha Mu-hee's split personality!? Cause that'd make much more sense. I was wrong again. They portrayed Do Ra-mi as being her own mother. But if we're being honest, shouldn't that be considered a problem mental wise? I guess not. It's such a plot hole.
On the other hand, what actually happened to her mother? If they weren't going to explain how their reunion went, what was even the point of bringing that up? Her parents being dead would make much more sense in a way.

I loved Ji-seons' and Yong-gu's storyline. I loved their characters so much and I'm grateful they got their happy endings. Kdramas should take notes how one can move on from their first love without making things complicated.
They did make Hiro so wrong tho. What was Do Ra-mi even trying playing with his feelings?

I feel disappointed cause it had so much potential. They had budget, actors and every resource possible. All they had to do was stick to their own storyline that never happened.
I'm giving 9 cause I can see myself going back to first few episodes.
