ahh they're cute but i don't want romance in this so i hope there isn't too much focus on the relationship between haekang & seyoon. really wanted this to focus on just badminton, friendship & family.
I didn’t understand what Hi soo said about the nun when she was talking to soe hyun. Can someone explain? She…
i agree, this is what it seemed like to me too. they were suddenly realising smth wasn't right about her.
it shows how sly the nun was about it too. bc heesoo & seohyun are both clever women but it took them that long to realise so the nun managed to mainpulate them well.
someone clarify the weird nun for me. she's jiyong's biological's mother's friend, right? but she liked the chairman so told him jiyong's mother was pregnant with someone else's child?
that's what i've understood about her anyway. but it's weird that she seems to care about jiyong sm. and that she's still so involved with the family. lmao if she was rejected by the chairman for her friend, even after telling him her friend was pregnant, yet she's still so attached to him, then she's pathetic. after this many decades too. that's why i have a feeling she's jiyong's mother.
this is too cute, my heart's gonna explode! the happiness this drama gives me is unexplainable.
i've always been more into dark genres but recently i've really been enjoying the friendship/family genre. it's difficult finding good ones tho, especially with kdramas bc they always add romance or smth else to it when it isn't necessary.
anyway, haekang's growth in ep 4 was so beautiful, it's the 1st time he's actually acknowledged them as friends & i'm excited to see their friendship grow even more.
omg omg omg only halfway through ep 9 but heesoo is SO strong, i love it. i was hoping she'd psychologically ruin jiyong before getting a proper revenge & it looks like she's going for it!
the way she was softly stroking his face while saying "how could i forgive you? did you really expect me to?" the contradictions - PLEASE i hope she keeps doing stuff like this so when combined with his loveless childhood & evil nature, it just tears him apart inside, that'd be so beautiful to watch.
tbh i sympathise with seokkyung. i agree she does need to realise that but to me, her jealousy is justified. seokhoon's…
100% agree! honestly seokhoon got on my nerves a bit this ep. obviously, like you said, he's got his own life but it lowkey irritated me that he's almost completely abandoned seokkyung over rona who he's barely known for a year.
and true, i have a feeling dantae will exploit that seokkyung just wants to feel loved for his own benefit.
Okay I just started and idk how I feel about Seokyung. She will be jealous obviously. I do remember being jealous…
tbh i sympathise with seokkyung. i agree she does need to realise that but to me, her jealousy is justified.
seokhoon's been protecting her all this time & now he's barely spending time with her, yet alone bothering to tell her he plans to study abroad. it probably hurts more bc they're twins & only relied on each other for a while.
also despite her love for suryeon, their relationship isn't very stable, not from seokkyung's view anyway. so it makes sense to me that the smallest thing (eg comforting rona) would make seokkyung jealous & insecure of suryeon's love for her.
it would be really disappointing if this jealousy becomes her downfall tho. this ep implied that it will but i was really hoping for some character development from her this season.
not sure how i felt about that first ep, some of it was predictable & i know this is a makjang but some of that was just absolutely ridiculous. despite that, i'm looking forward to the next ep.
seokkyung was my favourite character in s2 so i wanted some character development in this season. i do understand her jealousy of rona tbh but i don't want it to be her downfall, it'd be really disappointing to watch.
also i know a lot of people dislike jeni now bc of how she acted at the end of s2 but i pity her. her mum was the only stable person in her life & now she's gone so it was only natural for her to act how she did. she'll probably find out the truth about her dad later on & be labelled as the child of criminal parents.
before i started this drama, i had high expectations & i was kind of hoping it'd have the same inspirational and strong friendships vibes as hikaru no go and hot stove league. only 2 eps in & i already know this is gonna be in my favourites list.
i love haekang's competitiveness and quick temper so much! i can tell his character's gonna develop throughout the show & he'll start having proper values and appreciate his friendship with the racket boys, i'm really looking forward to watching that.
also looking forward to seeing tang junsang grow as an actor too. he was amazing in move to heaven & adorable in CLOY so i hope he continues getting main roles after this drama too
so excited for the 1st ep today! writer of prison playbook, our talented legend kim kanghoon & people are saying there may be a cross-over with hot stove league!? i can't wait
oh wow so the guard that psycho beat up was his own son? that's mad. also i never noticed these little epilogues before! it said 'hidden track 3' at the end of ep 15 so there's a couple i must've missed before. it's sad & tbh ridiculous too that statute of limitations exist, i don't understand why.
don't understand why it's got such low ratings. it's a great short watch! gave me end of the f*cking world vibes. & tbh it was refreshing for a kdrama bc it's rare finding a main character that mad haha, but i loved it. and yoonho was adorable, need someone like that in my life. anyway i'd def recommend this to others, looking forward to seeing the cast in future dramas
