not even halfway through ep 6 yet but damn. jiyong is THE master of deception & manipulation. his actions had already disgusted me but the way he emotionally manipulates heesoo into not doubting him is mad scary.
"i want you to only think of yourself, me, hajoon & my baby." focus on the "MY baby", most parents would say "our baby". we already knew he didn't really love heesoo from his actions but those words seem to emphasise he's just utilising her for his will to reproduce.
i don't want to jump to conclusions but he gives me psychopath vibes, i feel like there's something much darker to his past. this is only based on him paying for that fight in ep 5 & the way he was manipulating heesoo tho, i could be completely off
not seen anyone mention KDH's acting yet. this is the 1st time i've seen him & he's doing an amazing job as jinseok. he's also the ML in the recently airing 'here's my plan' & his character in that's the complete opposite of jinseok. v promising actor, i look forward to seeing him in more roles
oh wow! dohoon's jinseok from dark hole, i didn't even realise. he's a great actor tho, his roles as jinseok & yoonho are opposites but he plays both characters well from what i've seen so far
ok thankfully ep 4 was more interesting or i would've dropped it. but what happened was still rather predictable. v disappointed in jiyong & jakyung is extremely annoying. that nun's dodgy. we already know from ep 1 that she plays a big role in the story - she's the narrator - but why's she so involved with the family? even with heesoo, she's just an investor for the single mums foundation, so why's the nun so tangled up with everything and everyone? it's weird
There may be a twist to this. She may not be the mother but a close friend or a former staff who works well w…
agree! it does seem predictable & bc there's been a rise in dramas of the makjang genre over the past couple of yrs, it feels a bit repetitive too. hoping there's a fat plot twist in the next ep or i may lose interest
wow, very interesting read! first time i've seen an article on this subject on mdl, it's not something i think about as often or deeply as i should so this opened my eyes a bit. thank you!
It's too late for him, even though oz is responsible for triggering him but he ady done crimes n hurt innocent.
yeah i get that but it isn't technically his fault if he's got a natural inclination to committing crimes. that's why in the real world, this psychological inaccuracy of a psychopath gene wouldn't work, bc the justice system is based on the idea that people have a choice to commit crime
i don't want it to end with JBR in jail, he's a victim too. and according to the psychological inaccuracy in this, it's just part of his genes. he already had a predisposition to being a psychopath & it was triggered into action by OZ, so is he really even responsible for his crimes?
Things are getting complicated! I have no idea what's going to happen next! Is this tragedy? Nothing makes sense!…
not sure if i'm misunderstanding your qn but she didn't marry a dead man. her husband died after the wedding, probably on the wedding day or close after. so she became a widow early
I read the synopsis on two other sites for the show. It said that FL married the older brother of the guy she…
i don't see that happening. i've only seen the 1st ep so far but my prediction is that the love story will be between the FL & ML. the SML is just there for a love triangle. it would be too 'scandalous' if the FL ends up with SML bc they're in-laws especially bc she's a princess so has a reputation to keep
couple of things that bothered me in ep 2: 1) why did taehan waste sm time with hwasun, who is still a stranger to him, instead of going to look for youngshik? 2) the kid didn't seem that distressed by her mum's death lol but also why did she run away at the end? her mum's dying words were literally "listen to the detective". anyway, despite that, i'm looking forward to next week's ep.

and haha wth? if someone sent an archer to kill them then they should've at least sent a good one. why did he miss the 1st time?
