One thing I really appreciate about this drama: Everyone has their own story, even the side characters have this beautiful depth to them. The characters aren't just black and white, you can set a scale from white to black and there's a wide range of characters in BETWEEN the white and black. There's multiple kinds of bad and multiple kinds of good if that makes sense? bad because of greed, bad because life forced them into it, bad because they have no other choice, bad because they fear something, and the list goes on and on. For example, Tanashiri. No matter how horrible she is, I keep thinking, what if she was born into a normal family? She probably wouldn't have turned into this person if life had given her better circumstances. This makes everything so much more tragic. Obviously this does not excuse the things she has done. This drama is getting me in the feels, especially as I'm nearing the end, I keep tearing up. I love how realistic this is, in a way I can see the life we're living now in it? Compared to the palace drama, our daily life now seems so much more simple but in my opinion it's not very different, the fights that are fought may be different but the feelings felt are the same. Don't know if this makes sense but :) The real villain in this story is not the people, but the life circumstances and time.
ahhh so nice to see you here TTand fairy palace subplot?loll that's so random tho XD
I'm really really looking forward to bloody heart,it's been a very long time since I anticipated a drama before it's airing so I really hope it doesn't disappoint :)
every single day i regret not watching this drama while it was airing haha, i can only imagine how wonderful it…
it was like the point where all of the want san was suppressing just came to surface, though nothing really happened, his eyes and husky voice SAID IT ALL and that's all that I want tbh. XD

YES EXACTLY!The way he was staring at her in that scene was just O.O the drunk scene was a bit more like something I wanted the hapbang scene to be(minus the forcing part) though the hapbang scene was more emotional, the drunk scene was more lusty(if that even is a word lol) sooo

I started Empress Ki like, 2 months ago I think? And binged watched like 15 episodes then took a 3 week break then cxame back and now I'm watching 1 ep per day. Empress Ki definitely has it's flaws; like you said, lots os poisonings and palace drama. But what I like about it is the female lead,she.is.the.standard!And I also like the angst, plus it has a ji chang wook,so why not XD
