definitely agree with you!What made me appreciate this drama was definitely knowing a bit about the historical background and how things worked.Someone that goes into the drama without any of this wouldn't be able to enjoy the drama at it's fullest.

well I personally do not like politics,BUT I wouldn't have minded it in this drama. I wish they had made the drama a bit longer so we could've seen more of Sado's story and how it affected San. The Throne was a beautiful movie,it's kind of like a prequel to this drama in a way right :)

if he's interested in prince sado,I recommend you watch The Throne with him, it's a movie about Prince Sado and Yoo Ah In plays him! Also,you could try watching Empress Ki,it has LOTS of palace drama haha
