That's why watching this drama the second time is even more enjoyable, there's so many details and things a casual observer misses.
Especially after I watched the movie The Throne, which is about Prince Sado, my view totally changed and everything made so much more sense. I really wish they had mentioned Prince Sado more here.

BIG spoiler alert

Well, technically they DID end up together. In history, she accepted being his concubine after 15 years and three rejections but died a couple years after that. They were said to be happy together and the king loved her dearly.
So they did end up together, but death parted them.
It was very bittersweet, seeing them together was beautiful but she had to give up so much to be with him.
Like she told the king when he asked her why she kept refusing, "I'm scared of losing myself."
At the end, she did and that's what was so tragic..
Their love was beautiful though.
Hope this made sense,I definitely recommend watching this drama!

it's not just his face that is hot,well he does have a hot face but it's just-the way he carries himself?the way he talks?the way he smiles?not to mention his deep voice,everything about this guy is hot.
