Matsubara Junko (played by Nakajima Fumie) (who was with Hakamada and Ihara) then communicates with Shiho (as Naoko) telling about 300 million yen. Back in the field, Naoko regains consciousness as she suddenly confesses to the detectives that she killed of Miyuki and Mari, as she intended to kill Junko. Inside the abandoned sake brewery, suddenly someone hits Shiho with the wrench. Just as it strikes again, suddenly the lights went on. It turns out that the assilant was Yuya. Hakamada then arrives to stop him, but Yuya responded by taking Shiho hostage with the broken wine bottle. Hakamada revealed that Naoko confesses everything, with Yuya doesn't believe it. Then, the real Naoko arrives as she was escorted by detectives Mikami, Adachi and other police backups. Naoko asked Yuya to release Shiho after she confesses the murders, but Yuya refuses as he accuses her for lying. As Naoko asked the detectives to arrest her, suddenly Yuya snaps as he lunges forward at Naoko with the broken wine bottle to attack her, but the detectives quickly restrains and handcuffs Yuya, arresting him for murder as Hakamada rushes to Shiho. As Yuya is forcefully taken away, he yelled to Naoko why she protects him and telling that it was him for doing everything, with Naoko being hold back by the detectives while crying as she says Yuya has the future.

He then tries to drown Shiho using 10 kg weight while threatening her with the knife. Then suddenly Hakamada appears at the cruiser, and takes down Uekusa, as he tell him that he was detected thanks to weak phone signal. Mikami and a detective then arrives by handcuffs Uekusa, arresting him for murder. Hakamada then frees Shiho by untie her. Uekusa still resists as he was forcefully taken away, as he shouts that only he can protect Kato as he was forcibly taken to police car.

When Yayoi leaves, the police arrives and have a fight; Yayoi fell from stairs and quickly arrested. Hakamada rescues Shiho, he removes the bomb and throws it outside. The bomb explodes, causing Yayoi to concedes.
