Haha, that's funny. My sister told me the same thing. As far as I am aware, she didn't watch "Lighter & Princess," only clips. Maybe the same goes for "Love Me, Love Me Not"; I didn't ask her. But she kept telling me that they are similar to each other. A few days ago, she said that she now knows how to differentiate them. I knew this drama was going to be very good when I saw that it stars both Zhang Jing Yi and Lu Yu Xiao. They are both talented actresses, frankly two of the best of their generation. I wish the latter would receive more recognition, though. She is too good to keep getting supporting roles only. I watched her in "My Journey To You" last year, and dear me, she literally delivered a masterclass, showcasing outstanding acting skills.

That's the thing, I completely understand what you're talking about and where you're coming from xD Let's talk about the elephant in the room: the infamous horse scene, right? In my comment, I wanted to focus on the relationship between the two actors, based on their recent interactions (towards the end of last year and the beginning of this year), rather than dwelling on the past drama between their fans. I hinted at this in my previous comment, expressing my desire for fans to relax. I'd rather not revisit the past conflicts that arose from the BTS of that scene, with lots of drama and fans clashing... Nowadays, I'd argue that there's no issue between the actors themselves, especially if it's true that they've been seen hanging out together. However, the tension among their respective fanbases seems irreconcilable 😌 An example of this is that there are still CP fans of hers on MDL who are downrating Wu Lei's latest drama xD I'm well aware of it... Wu Lei is a gentleman and highly respected, and he certainly doesn't deserve any of that. But my frustration lies solely with those particular fans, not with the actress herself. I genuinely believe there's no longer any issue between them, and that's where I'll leave it :D

Well, it's not quite as simple as that. Let me explain from an unbiased standpoint. It's true that during the last awards show they both attended, Lu Si completely ignored Wu Lei. The moment he sat next to her (Dylan Wang was between them though). She didn't look in his direction once, nor did she speak to him (or at least that's what we thought until...). This caused quite a stir among fans.
Wu Lei is a very popular actor, and he is even friendly with actresses who have ongoing disputes. He's good friends with Zhao Liying, and just last month, he was spotted at an afterparty with Yang Mi. I won't delve into the ongoing feud between both actresses and their fans, it's madness. Personally, I don't think Wu Lei and Lusi have a bad relationship right now. I believe it's the fans who create the tension between them in public. Each time there's something fans go berserk. There have been numerous rumors circulating every time something happens, such as wearing the same necklace (they wore the same necklace a 2 weeks apart or something like that, they wore matching couple t-shirts too. With that being said, I've also heard that they were spotted together in the last few days, I didn't confirm that yet but I saw it in many reports so I don't think there's any issue between them. Hopefully, the fans can relax a bit! 😄
I personally wish Wu Lei do another work with all three : Dilreba, Lusi and Jinmai. Lusi said everthing is easy with him, Jinmai said he is the best in igniting emotions in you, and Dilreba went even more personal by saying that his girlfriend would be so lucky xD I really wish he do another works with them, but I also wish that he works with other actresses he didn't work with before like Zhang Jingyi, Landy Li, Zou Ye, Esther Yu... I was saying the other day how he didn’t act as my son when he was little. it would be so great if he was my older son haha! but my biological son is not bad either! "
