I tend to find myself hope-watching more when it comes to asian dramas, I don't like to drop shows so i continue watching to see if something better comes up. Although, I really like to hate-watch movies, especially accompanied by someone. It's so good to laugh and discuss the silly things.
I also think that there are some dramas i would like to hate-watch, analysing mode - when i know they are bad, but have a unique or cool plot.
