Exactly. I have a few dramas that I started on a whim and they ended up being some of my favorite dramas. Although, at times I can be a little confused if I just dive in without reading the synopsis.

Wow, all I do is look at the synopsis (sometimes I don't even do that) and if it piques my interest, I'll add it to my PTW list. I don't factor in anything else. I guess I'm just a very simple person lol

I had to skip over his scenes at the last half. I'm sad the writers decided to make him like that. I saw great bromance potential between him and Yuan Shuai.

You should try Two Weeks. The first drama I saw him in, and I thought he did amazing. There's also Lawless Lawyer too.

It actually doesn't matter about how old you are. I'm old(ish) and I love it! It's hilarious. There's another person who's 40+ and she loves it too. Of course it's full of clichés and all but it's really enjoyable. If you don't have a Viki pass, only four episodes are available.

In my opinion, the ML has talent lmao. Of course, he's still an amateur and has more to learn but I find his acting to be good. Waaaay better than some acting.

I didn't walk into True Beauty with any expectations (I actually wasn't going to watch it at all) and I'm loving it so far. I know time is precious, but I'd say see for yourself. Everyone's different and so you might like it :) but if you've already came to the decision of not watching it, just ignore what I said and have a great day :DD
