I wasn't aware Feng Zi was a jealous ridden scheming girl in the novel. I read that she actually had a good relationship with Xue Zhi towards the end even though Xue Zhi was the one hating on Feng Zi. And Feng Zi in the novel is actually more well received by the Chinese readers.

I can't say I feel much for Feng Zi, though I can understand her motivation. She has liked Tou for many years, even though her feelings aren't reciprocated, it's understandable that she wants to do everything she can rather than giving up. For now, I'm indifferent to her.

I'm actually quite surprised myself the way Tou and Xue Zhi handle themselves after the big misunderstanding. I'll admit I was anxious for them, I was dreading the scene and when it happened, my heart was breaking for them. And that single tear falling from Tou's eyes, oof, hurts more than anything else.

I feel like this couple's strong suit is reflecting and growing as individuals in their respective time and space, and that helps with the relationship because they're willing to take the time to heal and then talk it out. Seriously, they're my kind of OTP.

I am still anxious because based on recent previews, Tou and Xue Zhi are wearing the clothes from the scene where Tou is stabbed and pushed off the cliff. Crossing my fingers we're not there yet!

Oh hey, me too! I couldn't root for the main OTP for many reasons, Run Yu was one of them. So I ended up watching just for him. I think I cried for Run Yu enough to last me a lifetime, his life was really tragic and though I can't say I support the things he did, I did feel for him a lot. I'd say his obsession with Jin Mi was deeper than his affection for her. It'd be nice if Run Yu can find peace and love once again in Ashes, my only regret is that he suffered too much because of loneliness, only to end up being all alone again in the end.

Lol, can't believe I found a kindred spirit here. I was so excited when Eternal Love of Dream aired so I just signed up for WeTV without much though, best decision ever, it only cost me like 4usd for 3 months trial subscription. I didn't renew after ELOD ended though cuz I can still watch other dramas without VIP access.

With iQIYI, I had gotten the one month trial for 30 cents, which ended like a few weeks ago and then ATWIL aired, so I had to renew it, paid like 3usd for a month, not so bad. Starbucks is more expensive than that, lol.

What I like about these apps is that you can still watch dramas without VIP privilege, so awesome.

Don't know if you could watch them though, sometimes Youku videos have regional lock.

What cracks me up is when C-netizens point out they went into the herbal bath as Ms Chong and Mr Shang Guan, but came out as Zhi Er and Tou Ge Ge. XD

Not only that, they're basically spoilers lol. Like the herbal bath scene and kiss scene.

Youku isn't an international apps, so no, they don't have any subtitles. The only reason I tried to subscribe was because I wanted to catch this drama same time as China, I was impatient cuz most illegal sites are delayed by 10-20 minutes because they need to download and re-upload the episodes. Also, I had to use VPN in order to watch the previews on Youku. They have regional lock.

iQIYI has English and Indonesian subtitles.

That'd be terrible because Mu Ci is getting the short end of the stick again, he died in demon realm and not getting any love in mortal realm. Although it does make for an interesting story, in which Run Yu wakes up in heavenly realm, realizing he has fallen for Liu Ying and vice versa, but couldn't go to her because of an oath that he wouldn't step onto demon realm anymore. And then he has to ask for Phoenix's help to meet Liu Ying outside of the demon realm so he can pursue her properly. Meanwhile, Liu Ying struggles with her newfound interest in Run Yu because she has hated him a lot. Damn, that's a good story.

No clue who that is lol, but I'm happy to know that I've been helping to support the drama. I don't normally subscribe to streaming sites/apps but I subscribed to WeTV early this year to watch Eternal Love of Dream, been waiting it for ages, as it was the only VIP streaming site at the time. And these Chinese streaming apps usually have really good deal for trial package. I basically paid the price of a cup of coffee for 3 months trial of WeTV. iQIYI had a better deal, it was practically free, I paid like 30 cents but it was only for a month. I don't mind paying for subscription though as long as I get good content.

I wasn't aware of the ranking but I'm glad I bought the subscription. I had gotten a cheap trial a month ago for another drama but that turned out to be trash, I renewed it this month only to discover ATWIL is airing, so happy I did.

Edit: iQIYI only caught up to recent episodes last night, before that, I was trying to subscribe Youku cuz they have a cheap trial fee for the first 3 months, alas, couldn't get through Alipay, I was so disappointed, had to resort to watching on illegal site, lol.

I just realized the airing calendar photo has some key events marked on it, lol.

Not THAT comfortable, lol. Yukee is still rather shy. I wish the kiss scenes aren't so technical so they can be more natural about it, pressing lips is so last century, I want lips movement. HAHA

So happy to see they're having fun on set, at least I can come back to this once we get to the misunderstanding scene, I'm dreading it already. I think Ting Wei's accent is rather funny. Also, the caption saying he's the brightest light bulb (third wheel) had me cracking up. Why so cute??
