In Kdramas, they never eat the cakes and drink the tea/coffee/juice in the coffee shop that they ordered when they meet and talk! They just leave them in the table untouched. When in real life you would sip until the last drop because they're expensive.

Playful Kiss is indeed a bad romance, but I think the main reason is Kim Hyun Joong's acting! Hahahaha. I already saw the Taiwanese and Japanese versions, and at least there I felt that the male leads got warmer towards the female leads, but Kim Hyun Joong's Baek Seung Jo doesn't! He has no emotions at all and I felt nothing in the umbrella scene haha
