In the manga, shuurei (fan yun) and ryuuki (qi zheng) don't end up together, because even though they love each other shuurei wanted to pursue her dream of becoming an government official, but in the original novel they do get married some years later in the epilogue (at that point shuurei had already become a famous official but she gave up her status to get married to ryuuki), but their happiness is short lived because shuurei dies when giving birth to their daughter at age of 30. Ryuuki never married again and later their daughter became one of the few queens of the kingdom's story and it was said to closely resemble her mother.
Just watched it and I really loved it! I was so happy seeing the unnatural/miu404 cast working together even though their appearances weren' t that long TT and the movie was really good, also seeing okada on the big screen is always a pleasure lol and there was the surprise of seeing nakamura tomoya too I didn't expected it since he isn't listed in the cast. Overall I'm really happy that I was able to watch it before my stay in japan is over :)
It's not a bad movie at all but it suffered from the limited time, probably it would be so much better if it was a series, but overall it was entertaining enough for me. And I was really happy seeing Mackenyu and Miura Haruma working together
I can't wait! I'll go watch it in the theater for sure! For years I was waiting for something like this, hopefully with this movie unnatural and miu404 may have a 2nd season in the near future :)

Watched the movie before looking up the anime, and it was good, very entertaining with beautiful scenery! I didn't find it hard to follow the story and understand the powers as some people have commented, I think they did a good job overall. Then I went to watch the anime and well... just gonna say that I'm glad it's a movie because they cut lots of the things that annoyed me to no end while watching the anime, which made me appreciate this adaptation even more, so I dropped it and now I only hope there'll be a second movie
