I don’t mind her point of view or do I mind her sharing it with her daughter. But she shouldn’t tell her daughter how to live. It’s her daughters choice. Even if she fails in love it’s her life and she needs to experience the ups and downs.

Agree! I hope to see the siblings grow and change the way of dealing with their emotions. Talking would be a good starting point.
And Suho (what's his name, the bank chap she was dating) was absolutely right. You cannot resolve anything without fighting. Talking, arguing etc are healthy and gets people closer. This family doesn't do any of that. They all have built a wall around themselves.. atleast both the sisters.

There is definitely some cultural aspect to it.
And we see the lack of loving/understand conversations in all the siblings. They get each other and love each other but they don’t say much. They know but they don’t talk. It’s all
Coming from parenting style as we can see.

She was hurt and angry in lieu of her children. She was angry that her children suffered this by themselves and that she was in the dark. It seemed like a reasonable anger to me. It wasnt anger at the kids, but her anger at the situation directed at the kids.

The house is a very bitter space and holds terrible memories for the mother. Its the space where her husband betrayed her and she saw the affair. I don't think she can live in that house. But the kids had to - college, jobs etc. With her illness it made sense to be away from the place which cause her the distress and probably made her sick. I am sure they decided this as a family.

I hope there is an explanation. It does seem like he is part of the Rebel movement, But he might still not hurt the CP. But definitely there is a conflict of interest. CP did mention he picked him off the street. So its possible he is still loyal to CP if he gave him shelter and a job. But if it was planned, then yeah, its trouble. I was surprised MJY openly revealed and exposing herself in the process. Guess it was needed for the plot/reveal.

It was nice to see Right minister and the grandfather cousin.. lol..

I find the story much better when the romance is not forced. I want them to be friends more than lovers. What he needs is a trust worthy friend, not a lover at this point. I am fine waiting for the romance to kick in later.. Their shadow scenes were quite funny.

In fact, I thought this was a good episode were all the parts were set in motion. We got the rebels, we got the right minister get antsy and make some moves, we got a great scenes between King and crown prince.. I think this episode was a nice segway to what the Crown Prince wants to be or aspires to be.. I do hope the king is smarter than what is shown to us. I do believe he is protecting his son.

He walked briskly when he got a text from her saying ‘she is in the office and let’s have dinner. ‘. He broke a small smile when he saw her in the office. He has definitely caught feelings.

He took the mothers permission and she refused to be with them. She wanted the kid to speak freely without pressure.
I am assuming she has coordinated with the child before hand and it wasn’t a surprise for the kid.

I am quite enjoying this. CSW is awesome (damn that man is handsome!!) and loving the trot music in this. The dynamics between the friends is hilarious. Loving their scenes.
The cases are a bit heavy which I didn’t expect. But it feels more real.

That betrayal kind of made him who he is today. A lot of his actions are due to this. (and his mom). So I do feel its relevant to the story.

It was mentioned somewhere in an earlier episode that the current king was the son of a palace maid and not the true royal heir. May be Song family were the kings once and now want to depose Yi family and take back the throne. That’s how I understood this.

Didn’t the CP send the body guard to fetch her? So may be he will turn up ?

Agree. They could have used 8 episodes to build trust. Instead, they went from CP going to a full blown trust/romantic cues and doing a 180 next. And he wakes up again as a different person and asks about her sleep? CP deserves better writing.

Finally a much better episode! This is what the show should have been about. Focus on the mystery and keep the romance more organic and gradual.

I am finding the characters frustrating to be honest. And that probably makes people drop this drama early on. I came for mature characters but everyone is acting immaturely. I came for female friendship and yet we have none. I don’t know how long I can continue.

I don’t know why they are dragging this ‘I have a daughter’ plot for so long. She had made it clear that she doesn’t see having a daughter as a burden on future relationships but her actions speak otherwise. If they pull a dumb break up due to this it will be terrible.
