Does the CEO guy and Nora's mom know each other from somewhere? US perhaps? Something about the way they exchanged…
My guess is that she was seeing him as a means to their end. Mom knows her daughter isn’t smart enough to run a company but she wants her to own it. She probably thinks that marrying a suitable guy who can run the company while her daughter can continue to own it. I think she saw that potential in the CEO (ML) as a son in law.
I am still behind watching. I need to know when I read the comments- should I just skip the Li Li and Yichen scenes?…
I totally skip Yichen and Quizi scenes. I get that people want different things from a partner , but I have no interest in either of them as characters or as a couple.
I watched 3 of the 10 episodes released so far and the fl is not my cup of tea. Can someone explain to me what…
Same. I am finding her character hard to like. Her sense of entitlement in the current timeline makes me wonder what kind of a person she is. I did not see an effort in apologizing for that harsh break up. And suddenly she acts sweet and bubbly. so yeah. I dont know.. so far the bromance kept me interested.. but after after Ep 8, not sure how I can watch.
Chen Yuncheng i mean the doctor has a shitty personality a bit too honest as a doctor. He was just doing his job…
Both were right and had a point of view but both were extreme. As a doctor he needs to be objective about treatment. As a doctor he should have recommended her to a hospice for care. Not just implied she leave the hospital and die (well, that's how it came across). And XiJie's kindness is indeed poisonous, for him and people around him. He had no business hating a doctor to this extent. He is open to pursuing other treatment plans/hospitals. I can see why his relationships are difficult. Sadly, there was hardly any growth for his character. The youngest sister was the most mature of the lot. I liked her arc the best.
Ep 14: Its getting harder and harder to like the characters. I like the siblings relationship but out side of that a lot of issues. Everyone behaves either erratically or immaturely . 2/3 siblings had a surprise wedding ; ) so much for familial love.
So much potential when it started, ended up being a chore watch. Everything was rushed in the last 4 episodes while pretty much nothing happened in the middle. The ending felt meh. and convenient to remove the King for no reason. I mean, he is still alive so what happened to him? Would have much preferred if they spent an episode him being crown prince, king figuring out his son’d love sickness and arranging a marriage. Would have been nice to have some light moments with CP visiting her etc. or them investigating petty crimes in disguise. There was no reason to make him king right away. Even sergeant and princess arc was better than the main couple :)
Thankfully GaRam and Myung Jin saved the last episode with some adorable chemistry.
