Title Hidden Love
To me this sounds very much nitpicking. The drama is lovely and I did not even notice what you come up with here…
You should be able to say what you want to say. Some people seem to be personally insulted by opinions on this show.

I don't think the drama can do much about that because both of the cliff episodes are canon from the original…
That is understandable. So far I'm still liking it.

because of some age gap or some censorship maybe, the gap in the drama is 5 years but since this is an adaptation…
Thank you!

Title Hidden Love
Since you hated Love Like The Galaxy and consistently disliked most C dramas you tried, I'd say don't torture…
Thank you for taking the time to look at what I've watched and sharing your thoughts. While I understand that you have reservations about my taste in dramas, I would appreciate it if we could keep the conversation on the drama and not on me.

As a viewer, everyone has their preferences, and it's natural for some shows not to resonate with certain individuals. However, I believe we can have a more fruitful discussion by focusing on the content of the show rather than making assumptions about my preferences.

Regarding the show in question, I appreciate your insight into the storyline's progression and character development. It sounds like the drama has more to offer beyond the initial episodes. While I might have found the beginning a bit challenging, I'll consider your suggestion to give it another chance and skip to episode 8 to see if it aligns better with my tastes.

I'm open to exploring different types of dramas, and I'll take your recommendation for 'Road Home' into account as well. Each drama has its unique appeal, and I'm willing to give various series a try to find what suits me best. I just finished Who Rules the World and very much like it and the strong female characters in it.

Title The Legend of Anle Spoiler
Falling off cliffs multiple times is a common thing in C-dramas LOL
The only other drama I can think where the same person falls multiple times is romance of a twin flower. Even if there are more, by the second time it is excessive even if it is a common thing.

I'm on episode 4 and I am unsure if I should continue. Sang Zhi acts incredibly infantile for her age and it is pretty frustrating. Does it get better?

So he ends up falling off a cliff twice, is that right? It seems like it from spoilers. That seems excessive.

It would have been better if it was switched and the FL made a big sacrifice instead of the ML essentially dying twice.

Is it worth continuing the show? I find the male lead rude in the first two episodes and I am unsure if I can keep watching. He shouldn't be calling someone he barely knows "dense" and "pathetic." He makes it seem like he knows everything, is always right, and she is on the wrong side and needs to change. He manipulates her into behaving how he thinks she should. The help he gives is always marred by something he says or does. The things she said about the villagers isn't half as bad as the things he says and his attitude towards her. Many comments are saying they like the male lead. Does it get better?

I think that if the occupations were reversed (Yang Yang was the doctor, and Wang Chu Ran was the firefighter),…
Same. There are so many dramas where the male lead is a firefighter and the female lead is in a profession that isn't dangerous. It usually involves the male lead getting seriously hurt. Saw this a ton in A Date with the Future and the Flaming Heart. Seems like it'll be the same case for this drama. In fact, judging from the trailers, it seems like one scene in particular is very similar to a scene in the Flaming Heart. I would love to see one where there is a reversal of professions. It would give people something new instead of the same thing.

I just want one drama to come out where it is the female lead in the dangerous job and the male lead is a doctor. Give me something new. Anyone know a drama like this?

A clip from a BTS I saw...implies she will get injured again.
It also looks like he will get injured for the millionth time in ep 33/34.

I get it's a firefighter show, but the amount of times the ML almost dies or gets injured is pretty ridiculous and redundant. Some episodes could have switched it around and have the FL be injured instead.

Ep 40 death scene was well done and pulled at my heartstrings. That being said, they put too many flashbacks scenes. I'd rather see the scene than have it cut up by a lot of flashbacks.

Lol what?! How is it flat??
I appreciate your viewpoint. Perhaps we have different interpretations, and that’s what makes discussing the show interesting.

"flat" ???? who said that, :/ must be one in thousands, everyone watch today's ep across the globe can't get enough…
It’s perfectly fine having different perspectives. Let’s focus on discussing the show rather than resorting to insults.

It also feels a bit repetitive. He almost dies before in episode 27, this episode he appears to her and turns into a dragon, he appears to her and disappears, she tries to save him next episode and he turns into an egg. Too much. I wonder if they'll do the same with her death or if they'll do it rushingly and just have one scene of her disappearing.

There is something about the way they filmed his "death" that took me out of it. I'm unsure if it is because of it being too long, especially her begging, or if it is something else. It just felt stiff or awkward. And the whole flashbacks afterwards and he comes and speaks to her before disappearing from her is just too much and his death too drawn out. He already appeared before her why do it again. Especially because we all know he'll be fine in a couple episodes. They try so hard to make it emotional and dramatic but it falls flat to me.
