Honestly I do love this drama so far BUT the back story of Jeong Do and Seong Hee is weak. I was ready for something…
I think the everything about the character of Seong Hee is weak, I still can't see her as main role, just a bad plot device. I'm expecting her to be more worked on, 'cause by now even the supporting characters seem more developed than her.

Hopes went up with episode 3, but episode 4 just felt draggy and messy again. The plot is going fine, they just need to optimize the pace. A lot more scenes could be included or extended and another lot could be cut or fastened. I still have hope for this!

I think this is more interesting than Doctors..
I think is not fair to compare them, they subscribe to fairly different styles. But yeah, this is a lot more interesting than anything currently airing.

don't neurosurgeons have psychological evaluation before they get their license tho? there's no way he would pass…
Aria, you would. As he said, he's perfect because he's not distracted by emotions, he has no fear. He doesn't feel scared or nervous in emergencies, *that's* the person you would want to hand your life over. You really wouldn't want a trembling person to perform a brain surgery on you.

A fuckton of plot armor, but hell I love this drama.
Word. I'm feeling like a old lady addicted to gossip and soap operas, but I can't go back anymore. I. Must. Finish. This.

They're spinning the wheels. How many times has he died already?
Died? He is immortal. You can aim 3 bazookas at him and he will survive. Stanch the wound, inject saline and we're good to go.

I had high expectations for this, but I'm getting the Neighborhood’s Hero vibe. The genre, the premise, the incredible cast, everything is fertile ground to grow, but somehow they screw it up and make it boring. I'm afraid this will follow the same patch as Neighborhood’s Hero, even when I *really* hope it doesn't. They could wrap these 2 first episodes up to just a 45min one, really. Please, please don't disappoint me again, OCN.

I hope this show don't turn bad like Local Hero :(
Yeah, I got the vibe of crime-drama-with-great-potential-but-turns-out-to-be-crap as Local Hero. I really hope they don't screw it up.

Parents hitting their children and the infamous wrist grab are somewhat debatable in several aspects, but I don't see a reason to freak out about the rapes and more serious abuse. They're not there for pure entertainment value and are almost never taken lightly, they always carry a strong emotional charge. Most of them are not just a cheap plot device, they're there to portray real life occurrences that happen every freaking day to a lot of people (e.g. Misaeng).
