You are absolutely correct. The drama deviated so much from the novel that it’s becoming senseless.

The FL was poorly written in the drama. In the novel she’s top student and accepts ML’s protection. Maybe because the novel is different from the drama(WQQ was just a casual colleague not her closest friend) she wasn’t so emotionally involved. Her character is different in the drama. She pursued him in uni and broke up with him. In the novel he pursued her in high school and when they got back together they worked hard at their relationship and communication was good. Chemistry was very greater.

More like she did something she shouldn’t have.

sure by now you would have put the pieces together and get a general idea of what’s going on.

I watched that as well during Covid. Bright Eyes is good except for the ending. The First Shot is good if you like drug crackdowns, no romance for him.

She did but then in the novel they were only in high school . Also after identifying her friend’s body she fell very sick. She was also emotionally unstable.

For sure but not sure if she’s acting on her own or doing the dirty for DJ. Even though Liu Yu Jie is DJ’s sidekick, she has ulterior motive.
