Watched the last episodes raw, but think I got the gist of it:

Ai was abducted by the Society for Video Girl Research, but not even hallucination therapy could cure the terminal nature of her VGS.
She decides to live out her final days catching up on all of Sho's laundry, since she had been busy for awhile getting abducted to be an idol, and then getting abducted for medical research.
Tomoaki buys Nanami canned coffee, even though she absolutely hates canned coffee. Their intermittent relationship is doomed to failure.
Ai spends her final moments with Sho, before dissipating into her component subatomic particles, and switching to a different world line, where she is an ace softball pitcher.
