Kudos for Kang Hyung Suk for learning Singaporean mandarin for this movie. I'm not Singaporean but he seems to be able to speak it fluently in the movie, and he speaks it a lot. Very cool of him :)
They had 18 eps to gradually unravel, solve and bring everything into conclusion, but just have to do them in last 2 coming episodes, and all the while the main leads always seem to be in constant danger, never having the upper hand. lol! SO frustrating XD
Agree... I figured it out quickly who the real killer was and he was in the Kink group photo plus worked at the…
if i remember correctly the reveal is at either ep 8 or 9. If you think of psychopath and pay attention to the little unassuming clues you'd be able to guess it. wow the crow, it's such an old show :D But yeah they kind of do look like each other.
Tbh it's pretty obvious who the mastermind is from early on. The guy was so suspicious it's hard to miss, so when they reveal it it's pretty much no surprise at all for me. Overall pretty good to watch tho.
Ep 10 bugs me, with JiHyeon being a ghost I don't get why she doesn't just stay and watch what the nurse does by herself after confronting her. She did it the first time why doesn't she do it the 2nd time? I'd definitely get curious and stay in the room. But then I guess Yeong Min wouldn't be able to get kidnapped :p
After the bracelet-throwing-into the -pond scene, I thought, "Welp, there goes the hope for any possible future romance in my mind for this drama." Don't tell me it's going to be one of those doomed before it starts kind of romance. lol!
Gotta say I really love Ning Yu Xuan's outfits! Most are very unique and beautifully designed. I think this is the first I've ever noticed any ML's costume, and the first time I've ever checked who the costume designer is. lol!
Wow. I can't believe I'm just watching this now after getting lost in so many other "romance-looking dramas-but-tch-really?" ones lately. This is one of those gems you can't help but fall for. It may be slow burn but I love how you can feel the build up of the romance from the start. The tension it maintains throughout is insane. Granted it may have started from hatred and distrust, but the push and pull easing into attraction is right up my alley and now I can't get enough of this. I would definitely "Call it Love". I wish this story called love could go on forever :D
Actually--Nailpolish and manicures were a thing in China way before the Republican Era. Or even before Common…
Oh huh,, interesting info, thanks! It just always bothered me how it sticks out, since i'm always associating it with modern western culture's fake nails :D
According to the summary above FL's supposed to be a "befallen " wealthy family, and in the republican era. Couldn't the actress have taken the time to remove her fake long manicured nails to film this? they look so out of place and not to mention they've not been invented yet. LOL!
