Now that you've mentioned it, I agree with your theory that Hidaka dolled up Mochizuki in order to tease her, and it's not romantic attraction per se but admiration borne out of respect from getting to knowing each other better after they've switched

For the letter, my "gay theory" was before it was revealed that Azuma was the one who gave the letter, so your recollection is correct

And it's just sad that Hidaka's love for Azuma (plus the guilt regarding his brother's miserable life) drove him to cover up the crime. Glad that he stopped being stubborn and listened to Mochizuki at the end :)

Agree! It did not occur to me that the leads will fall in love. During the first episodes, I honestly thought Hidaka was gay since he dolled up and dressed Mochizuki fashionably when he was in her body plus the fact that the person who sent him a "love letter" in the past could have been a boy.

This made me wonder if the reason behind Hidaka's gesture is because he was starting to develop feelings for Mochizuki.

At the end of episode 9, I echo Mochizuki's sentiment about not knowing who to hate in this cruel situation.

Can't wait for the final episode. Hope the memory card will contain information that will lessen the charges against Hidaka. He doesn't deserve to shoulder all the punishment.

This series just goes to show that Japan is the champion of slice-of-life dramas!

Casting is great but I was really impressed with Takahashi Issei's and Kuroki Haru's acting!

This drama is a testament of how love can change a person :)

P.S. If not for Captain Ri's soldiers and for the North Korean housewives, this drama would be totally heavy
