I was introduced to Jdrama when our history professor made us watch Erai Tokoro ni Totsuide Shimatta (I've been married to hell) starring Yukie Nakama and Tanihara Shosuke which showed a lot of Japanese traditions. Then, I began watching other dramas of Yukie Nakama, namely Saki, Trick, Rakuen, and Tempest and the rest was history.
What I like about Jdramas is their ingenuity as they cover a range of topics/genre from slice of life to mystery and that they're easy to finish (10-12 episodes).
The Jdramas I would recommend are Liar Game, Love Shuffle, dele, N no Tame ni, Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekite Iru, Confidence Man JP, Mr. Brain, and Midnight Diner.
For those of you considering to watch Jdramas, give it a try; you'll be amazed afterwards.
Was a bit surprised with the ending. At one point I thought Chief Gwi signed the contract to relieve Wol joo of the punishment for knowing secret information, and was expecting him to go to hell after they settle 100,000 grudges. Nonetheless, I'm totally satisfied on how the series ended.
A must-watch movie - didn't expect that Granny's desire to speak English will escalate to this level. An eye-opener to the horrors experienced by comfort women under the Japanese regime.

The actors did an excellent portrayal of their characters especially Han Seo Jin, Kang Ye Seo and Coach Kim.
It's a worthwhile watch for everyone. Hope their character development will reach and translate to the viewers as well.
