Omg how did I missed this??? I have so much to say about my dearest but Im gonna try to keep it short.
First thing first, its amazing watching 'older' and experienced actors in a series. Ahn Eun Jin is amazing! But Namkoong Min is another story. When he talks, his voice, his mimics, the way he speaks mesmerize you. Its impossible to not get attracted to his man. He can easily convince you to steal something or kill someone. He is magical!
His character Jang Hyun was also an amazing man. Very mature, patient, talented... Looking carefree but being such a caring man behind that mask. I loved him.
Meanwhile Kil Chea really pushed my limits. I admired her bravery through war but her coldness to JAng Hyun, her cruelty, her selfishness and her stubbornness really bothered me. She was also a terrible friend except the war. But I guess her unbearable character was a part of the story. The story that I absolutely loved!!!!
Why I mention here, that disgusting user mention blank on 23.5. If you guys don’t like blank, just ignore it,…
Agree with you. hating actors and insulting them is the most pathetic thing ever. I think if people dont like something about series or actors they can put it out there with nice words. They can openly say they dont like age gap theme, with respectful sentences ofcoruse. If she doesnt like age gap, she just can stop watching. its not actors' problem.
But there is a point that I dont agree with you: supernatural series doesnt count as age gap. I dont have any problem with age gap so my opinion is objective. Its completely normal liking goblin but not liking age gap because of some personal ethical values. In supernatural series like goblin or vampire series or something else, age frozes in time. They can even be immortal. Its not clever to count them as age gap. ofcourse all of these are my opininons. I feel like looking for logical age comparison in supernatural series is meaningless. Because just as it says its supernatural, the nature of it has no logic afterall :))
I had an emotional roller coaster with Ming, Hated him, felt sorry about him, then liked him a bit. I loved Joe all the way. This was a very good series but might be overreacted a little bit. Im just grateful that this series made Poom more visible to us. He is such a talented actor. Hope to see him more in the future.
This show was very good in many ways. But the best thing was acting for sure. Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won were flawless in one word. I know they are good actors but they were beyond good this time. Their talent were better than the story and the scenario and everything... I loved watching them. Especially a crying Kim Soo Hyun is something magical to watch. Its my first time seeing someone getting more handsome and attractive while crying. He is not even my type or one of my favorite actors normally lol. And Kim Ji Won is, well, perfection.
Thia part of my comment has spoiler!!! That finale kind of bothered me. Its one of the most disturbing happy ending style ever. You gave us a happy ending, thank you, but why do you have to make us sad with unnecesarry details. Dont show us any predicted sad future. Leave us with the satisfaction of a happy enging please!!! I hated that sentimental part. Sorry.
Well, now that its one year passed from my first comment, I must admit that I still miss Max Tul, they are one of the best tv couples ever and like the founders of bl industry lol. I would love to watch them once more sometime in the future. BUT I wholeheartly support MewTul and wish them the best. Loving MaxTul as a tv couple definitely doesnt mean I dont support MewTul in real life. Actually, now I think it would be fun watching a real couple in a series too. To be honest I think Daou Offroad and MosBank are real couples too but what I mean is an official couple. Now I would enjoy watching MewTul and this is my one different opinion than my first comment here. Hope they have a great life together.
This sort of a melodrama is really my cup of tea! I love this genre, I love every series on the recomendation section of this, but... This one was slightly a heart break to me. It could have been a masterpiece but story was lost between the classes, teachers and academy drama. That tasteful slow burning romance become kind of boring. I wish we couldve seen a better storyline with a deeper bond. Its sad.... Also the final scene was like wth? The finale was like its made in a school movie project.
But I must say I adore Jung Ryeo Won and Wi Ha Joon. They are amazing! Their acting actually made the series way better.
I think the storyline had great potential and I always like Taiwan bls, they put so much effort to scenario and casting. But omg how Liu Li made me sleepy in every episode!!! He is literally a sloth noone can prove other lol. But I must say last 2 episodes were very enjoyable which made my rating suddenly higher.
I think it is completely understandable..It was their first project..tbh Keen's acting was AMAZING..!! Talking…
Again, completely agree with you about your first opinion. Still this doesnt mean I support this system. Yes, learning through experience is okay, but they shouldnt start as leads. They can learn as sides. Great actors such Earth started as side character and even in his first role ever he wasnt as dull ass Sea. I dont think I would grab the opportunity in front of me when Im a bad singer, when I know nothing abot the subject, but just because I see a possible potential in myself or just because I got the chance. Mine is not hating nor judging. Im not guessing things or making assuptions to judge. I simply observe and put my opinions out there. I saw a lead acting very bad, that actor told he didnt know a thing about acting himself. So I simply say he shouldnt start as a lead when he knows nothing or when he doesnt have natural talent. Observation and opinion, nothing to judge. I understand you clearly, I hope I can make myself clear aswell. Different opinions thats all. Im just someone who appreciates hard working and talent. I dont support people with no talent or knowledge to start their carrier from the top.

I agree with you about popular actors with poor acting skills, also agree with you about the time for improvement. In another hand, there is a huge point that I dont agree. The thing is, I dont think we should watch a talentless actor as a lead and then wait for him to improve. If he has no knowledge about acting as he said, he should have a natural talent to be a lead. Or if he has no talent, he should study on it before and have a knowledge. Having no knowledge and no talent but being a lead from the very beginning is not fair for actual hard working and skilled actors out there. If he 'has to' be an actor (which I think not every handsome man should be one) he at least could start as a side character. Keen is not very experienced as well but he was very good. He deserves a partner as good as him. You know Sea's case is like me saying, I didnt graduate from music school or didnt study with a vocal coach, I also have no natural talent and have a very bad voice. But let me have a concert in the arena as an idol. I will be very bad, but my orchestra will be amazing and save me. I can improve in the future. I hope I can explain my point with a quirky example.
I think my expectations about thai bl got so high now that I really really didnt like this. It was super cliche but not in an adorable, fun, classical quality way. It was mostly boring, acting was not good. Especially actor who played Kang had no mimics or emotions whatsoever. Kang was also a very soulless and cold character and I didnt like him at all. Actor who played Moo was relatively better tho. I see that most people liked it so Im sorry for being the negative one here. But I seriously got super bored, it wasnt interesting at all so I moslty skip-watched it. The best part was the last 10 seconds of the whole series. I always enjoy a good quality, perfectly placed cameo lol
It's different than Squid Game, in SQ there's only 1 survivor, and the actors showed griwth pretty fast. but in…
Yes its possible but it literally says psychological as a genre. What I reacted was how strongly people hated this meanwhile loving SG. I guess I generally get annoyed when there is a hate wave about something lol.

Well, ofcourse games, rules, survivors etc are different otherwise it would've been scenario stealing lol.
I can understand the criticism about character growth or any other criticism as well. I dont think this was a perfect series, it had its own flaws, obviously. It's fair to say one is better than the other, Im not saying they are equally good. I just judge people who hate this and love SG because they are clearly on the same path.
People loving squid game but hating this makes no sense!!! This one literally walked from squid game's path. They are on the same page. I cant believe how they are complaining about blood or sadism. Like, who did promise you flowers and unicorn farts? Did you think this was a romcom before starting it? I expected a series about a psycho game just like squid game and I got exactly that!

I have to watch season 2 asap!
