How many more have to die before the Agencies stop hiding all of the darkness that is brewing behind their doors. The pressures and stress that are so unimaginably high that these children would rather take their own lives than have to try and live up to them. When are the Netizens going to be held accountable for the cyber bullying of these children. How sad is it that what was once a shock to the system is now fast becoming the norm. How many more families that will forever mourn them.

When will the world stand up and say 'enough is enough', we cannot loose anymore of our children.

Did not see this, watching the anime, so should be interesting.
Replying to myself, have watched the Donghua, know how it end so I am all good to not watch the live version, bad enough watching the sadness once already.

5 episodes in for the binge. Thoughts so far that it is an A -typical cultivation story line with comedy added in to support the more serious nature of the show. The MC of course has no cultivation to speak of and is looked down upon and humiliated by his fellow disciples.( Nothing new here, thinking a read of the LN and manga will give me more to work with). As per the LN he is supposed to be the reincarnation of a penultimate cultivator but that does not seem to even be a thing in this live action version. As for the Master, Wang Wu.. as of this moment yes she is funny but I find her annoying more than anything else and pretty useless. She has a low cultivation rate herself, does nothing but steal all of his money to drink and as of yet has made no contribution to his growth.

Overall I find this series after episode 5 likable enough to watch more only because I enjoy the genre.

Here is hoping that it lives up to all of the hype and has a better showing, at least for me.

Overlooking the age factor, the actors did a decent job of portraying their individual characters onscreen. The adaptation was close enough to the source material that the artistic license taken is forgiven. A job well done and looking forward to the next movie, praying that it keeps the momentum, listens to the criticisms and fixes what was wrong.

South Korea, did we expect any less.. typical. We the rest of the world watch and cringe, shakes our heads and move on. A society that deems the outer esthetic as the most integral makeup to its population and bullies those that do not fit that profile. Care about the mental welfare of its population? Should we rehash the suicide rates again, the rampant depression. That rug has become tattered and torn from all the secrets. This incident is one in a long line of children not being able to cope with the pressures and having no where to turn for support. Heaven forfend because it will break them, just as it has this young man.

The damage has been done. His legacy has been written, sad as it is.

I had no clue this was even Live Action. I have been watching the Donghua which is amazing with its artwork. A prequel has also been released to give us a backstory of sorts to some of the characters.

Title SOTUS
it's only in the USA, and only if you apply to be in a fraternity. And even so, most serious schools are cutting…
We have it here in Canada as well but its minor compared to the US.

Just finished watching the Donghua, found out there is a live version and the wait begins. Excited to say the least. I truly hope the studio does not mess this up. The LN is amazing and the characterization in the donghua does them justice.

I've never before seen a BL where the main pair are totally irrelevant to the plot. The hair stylist for this series…
Sadist is the correct term for this series. Truly I have not watched one this boring in a long time. The main couple is so forgettable with their lack of chemistry or anything else that matters. The side couples are fillers and the so called angst or conflict to help pump our blood is an eyeroll. I am watching only because of the time I have already wasted. I actually walk away quite a bit while it is on. Just want to add it to my watched list of 'never ever ever to watch again so gag me with a spoon' category. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😣

[Episode 4]Is that a standard way to hold guitar? He looks like playing lute to me. The fencing pair adds literally…
Thank you for the giggles 😉, I am still on the fence about the pairings. Other than Khim and the plants, that is a total shoe in....

So basically it boils down to .. forcing feelings on to someone else until they finally succumb. Constantly giving gifts since what the heck you may as well try to buy the person as extra added buffer.

Do I have the gist of it right ?🤦

Bar is an absolute hawtie but not sure where Gun got the title super cute. He is average at best. A lack of chemistry perhaps. Ah well...

I came I saw I watched and left it with a 'meh' The side couples were more interesting.

Right now I am watching SOTUS the series. What a difference when you have the right team working in front of and behind the camera.

Agreed, the actors did a bang up job with what they had to work with. I feel for them and cry for us having to bear it all each week.
