This show is beyond amazing, I just watched all 17 episodes that have been subbed in a row because I'm so in love with it. I'm now having withdrawals because I'm dying for the rest of the episodes.
I started watching this because I read it's based off of Sawan Biang, but really there are only a few small similarities regarding the plot and the character personalities are pretty different than those of SB. But even though this was mostly a different story I still really enjoyed it (although I do agree with the comment below about the continuity issues, it felt like entire scenes had been cut out and while you can still understand what's going on in the story it still felt weird).
My favorite thing about this series was by far the male lead, which is actually kind of funny because he is the biggest difference between this and SB. He falls so in love with the female lead from the minute he meets her (he even asks her to marry him by the end of episode 2) that he practically acts like a stalker following her around and obsessing over her the entire series. And while he does say mean things to her a few times due to misunderstandings, (which she never explains but he always forgives her for) he is mostly a really good guy and pretty much just acts like a lovesick man who would do anything for the woman he loves.
If mark prin wasn't one of my favorite actors I would never be able to finish this. The plot was actually ok, it just focused too much on the evil plotting and not enough on the romance. But the real problem was I could not stand one character from this lakorn (besides mark who got the one likable character). Plus don't get me started on the female lead, her character might be at the top of my all time hate list, she is beyond annoying and the actress has one expression/emotion the entire drama (I can see why she has since this series been downgraded to playing second lead in all her other lakorns).
If I didn't like aum I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have finished this... Not only was it extremely boring for most of the story but also the leads had hardly any development, little screen time together and zero chemistry. I only recommend this if you are a fan of the leads otherwise it's not worth it

I guess the leads have done like 5 or 6 lakorns together but this is the only one subbed which is a shame cause I'd have liked to see if the chemistry improved because it was ok but nothing amazing.
at the start of the first series it said it was 1957 ... but in episode 2 of this one they played my girl, which came out in 1964 ... so either this is a secret time travel drama or the music department didn't do a good job =)

I did find the grandma a little annoying but I have gotten use to trying to ignore the parents in Taiwanese dramas. they are always way over the top or horrible people so they all pretty much annoy me haha .. But I did like that this show didn't really have any evil people it was a nice change from most Taiwanese dramas.

Somewhere around 25 if I remember correctly and they get married a few episodes later so the rest of the series is basically married life for them .... Btw if it's too long dramafever has a 36 episode edition =]

It's ok, I found it slow at times but really liked other parts of it but if you are looking for a really romantic show this isn't it. But on a superficial level both Janie and Rome have never looked so good.
This was between a 7 and an 8 for me but I don't give half ratings so I went with a 7. The plot was a little slow at the start and there wasn't enough romantic development for my liking. Its really a shame because I love Rome and Janie and both are extremely good looking so this could have been great with tons of flirting and skinship but it ended up just average.
