i really loved the first half of this series but by the 2nd half i started to notice a few inconsistencies so i wasn't able to enjoy it nearly as much as i did the first part ...

a few things that bugged me ...

- people would countless times have conversations that they would completely forget about an episode later and be shocked by the news
- the first half the show paul is shown to be a fake playboy who is still secretly in love with his first love but the second half he now turns out to be siangwaan's fiancé and supposedly was in love with her before she was in a coma for 2 yrs but later again it turns out he was just using her (umm why did you tell her you loved her when she was in a coma and couldn't hear you if you didn't really mean it)
- siangwaan was like 2 completely different people from when she was a ghost and after she woke up from her coma. nothing about her personality was the same, from the way she talked to the way she interacted with people. when she was a ghost she talked all the time was spunky and adorable, after she woke up she acted nothing like that but was just really pouty most of the time.
- plus when she woke up all her memories as a ghost were gone and while she was informed about what happen when she was a ghost and she had a few glimpses, the show never actually shows us if she remembered everything or not

i still ended up giving an 8 cause i did like it but i was just disappointed with the 2nd half

this couple is really cute together and I liked the story idea... but the way it was done was only ok, it was a little sloppy and could have been developed better. plus id have liked the ending to be like 20 to 30 mins longer.

spoiler alert -

after lying to her about who he was the entire series she finally finds out with 1 min left of the show and her only reaction was ..you were tricking me, ok ill marry you.

that was a pretty weird way to end the show thought they could have added a little more but overall it was cute and enjoyable.

best news ive read today -

2 seasons each with 20 episodes. one airs in sept and the 2nd will air next year .... plus aom said there are tons of kiss scenes =))))))))

I loved this one so much. The chemistry and sexual tension between ken and Janie was out of this world, and there was so much touching, hugging, cuddling and kissing. I thought the story was really cute and the characters were developed well, the only problem was this really should've been a few episodes shorter. The last 4 or so episodes dragged and could have easily been just 1 episode. But I'll for sure rewatch this one, just maybe skip watch the last few episodes.

the previous life was really developed and seeing the love story unfolded was great but the current life had hardly any character development. it felt like they met and fell in love because they loved each other in each of their previous lives, we didn't really get to know them that well because most of the attention for the current life was spent on the sister's vengeance.

side note -
.... I ended up watching the last 7 eps raw because the subbing stopped on this a long long time ago but the screencaps were extremely detailed with tons of dialog so it was easy to understand.

Jing sucks so much, I'm only halfway into the show and I really can't stand watching any of her scenes because she is such a horrible person...

1. Takes sisters place in college
2. Has sister work her butt off for years to pay for her tuition
3. Takes her sisters boyfriend, and even marries him without ever telling Ning
4. Let's Ning take her place in prison for 3 years
5. Steals 150,000 from ning without ever asking her

EDITED 7/23 - ok jing is officially the most disgusting person ever, let me add a few more things

6. after loser husband finds out all of jings lies he divorces her and jing blames ning and doesn't want anything to do with her
7. jing abandons her newborn baby, sells her house and takes off so ning cant find her and has to raise her baby

But yet she always makes it out like she is the pitiful one, "my sister wanted to do it so it's ok" "please don't tell moxuan that Ning went to prison for me because my happiness will be ruined" "please don't tell Ning I married her boyfriend (while she was in prison in my place) because we finally have happiness" etc etc

... This is also the most makjang Chinese drama I've watched, but not in the good addicting makjang way but more in the im getting a headache from all this crazy way... But at least Ning and tian Ming are both totally awesome and I love all of the scenes they have

basically each season has has like 5 or 6 different stories - each story has different cast, theme and number of episodes - so season 5 had a total of 29 eps and it had 6 different stories... im not sure why they have it all listed together on mydramalist but when I tried to list each one by themselves, I was told they had to be listed together ....
