I was longing to see a romcom drama that won’t make me frustrated - no unnecessary break ups and misunderstandings, no unrealistic childhood connections, no narcissistic behavior from male leads, so for me this drama truly delivered. I will always remember those days when I watched the episodes with a wide smile on my face :) I knew the ratings are subjective but for me a drama that makes me feel good or inspired is automatically 8+.

Lol I was reading the summary and thinking this sounds strangely familiar.. till I looked down and saw it's a remake of one of my favorite dramas! The story was very unique, I really hope they pull it off with the remake. I adore this cast. JYB, Rooting for you!

If you liked this drama, I'll recommend to watch "My Liberation Notes", not quite the same but has and an overall similar feel to it

People are talking about the pacing, but tbh I'm satisfied with everything they showed till now.Particularly in…
Agree completely. I think the writers have given us everything. The slow burn build up, the fluffy scenes as a honeymoon phase and the reality hitting the characters hard near the end, which will cause for further events to escalate and then resolved quickly, without unnecessary dragging. There would be no point of knowing Du Sik’s backstory while he was detaching himself from his past. Instead we were just given the hints that his happy self is just a facade. The real story coming to light while Du Sik starts to open up and recognizing his own feelings is a good move from the writers. Because in the end we were as shocked as all the other characters involved.

Title Vincenzo Spoiler
I know this drama is not about romance. I love this drama becos they don't use those k-drama/C-drama cleche skinship…
For some reason, I get the feeling that CY is distancing herself on purpose, because she knows they are almost at the finish line and Vincenzo plans to leave Korea after they're done with Babel. This is the vibe she's been giving me the last few episodes, where she mostly remained quiet and melancholic. She obviously has feelings for him, and despite using the words "friends," what she actually meant was that they're soulmates. Everything is up to Vincenzo now, he has to make his move and remain by her side.

In real life I would definitely go for a more extraverted and straightforward guy like Seojun, but for this drama and for Joo Gyung the right choice is Su Ho. They just have a connection on a deeper level, it's not just a mere attraction between them. They accept and love each other for who they are.

Please spoil for me. I am only on Ep 5. Did Ryu Jin and Ah-jeong really have a one-night stand? If so (or not),…
They never did. Ryu Jin had the wrong idea. They just got drunk, he threw up all over the place and passed out.

The fact that so many people are getting frustrated with the drama but still watching it.. Something about it is addicting, despite the bad writing. I love coming here together every week to bash the characters. ;D

Wow I feel sadistic saying this but I need to see the FL crash and burn from her mistakes, I need to see the point when she can't keep lying to herself and everyone else anymore, falls apart and desperately seeks forgiveness from her daughter, and ODO. This might somewhat justify the stupidity I witnessed up to this point.

I second this. What I understand about AJ’s character is that she is very reluctant to admit that she might have made the wrong decision. She keeps making up excuses like “We would have broken up anyway,” or “you and I only have painful memories.” But you see a glimpse of regret in her conversation with her mom. Of course she knows she is at fault here, she needs to finally grow up and own up to it like Dae Oh.

I DID NOT expect her to reject him after what he told, I mean... she even admitted that she made a huge mistake…
You can see how she gets more and more scared when she realizes it’s all just a big misunderstanding. She is so afraid to question her decisions, that she keeps being stubborn at a time she needs to open her heart for everyone’s sake. From the beginning she failed to face the problem heads on, but running away doesn’t make her a stronger person. I hope this is the conclusion that the character reaches by the end of the show.
