Sigh...invalid date again I can't wait anymore im slowly getting more and more bad feelings about this drama
I think it'll be ok though, they did post a trailer and in the trailer it does say December (12). Since the month is confirmed, we just need the day that it will start airing
Can someone tell me why is everybody so excited about this drama?
I'm excited about the cast as a whole. I'm not a blink per se but I'm also excited to see how her first main role plays out. But I've seen works from almost every single cast member so it's great seeing them all together.
(also I love anything that isn't "current day" and set in a different time, or inspired by something, which in this case is the notes as mentioned in the plot)
Choi Myung Hee's death was far more brutal than Han Seok, it was by far the most shocking scene in the show!
Agreed, it was REALLY brutal, but also probably killed her a lot sooner than Han Seok's death. With Myung Hee, she was burning alive and she would have died pretty soon after. With Han Seok, he knew he was gonna die but it was gonna be a long way till then, and there's no way to end the pain sooner, until he mentally gives in and is essentially alive but dead inside, until he actually dies.
I'd say it's pretty much totally over? The main plot is completely over, unless they want to introduce new villains, then it's open ended but then it wouldnt be a direct continuation of this if that makes sense. There's no way they would be able to continue this specific plot.
Definitely sounds like the type of drama I need to be watching!
Definitely check it out, it's a nice light-hearted watch! I started watching as I follow the webtoon of the same name and in the webtoon, they don't focus on Hee Kyung as much (as the story focuses on her sister). In the drama, although Hee Kyung and Jun Woo are a side couple, they get enough screen time!
Me neither, this drama is not predictable. In a typical drama the FL wouldn't get her memories back until like…
Honestly I'm ok with it happening early on. meaning that there is much more to the story than her memory loss. Plus, many older historical kdramas that are based on a real person/ legend are 50+ eps (like Empress Ki and Jumong) so it'll also be trying to fit the entire plot into a "condensed" 20 eps, which is still a bit longer than the typical 16 eps.
Also in True Beauty (which is still on air), Lim Hee Kyung chasing after Ju Kyung's teacher, Han Jun Woo, is absolutely the best! It's a bit comedic because of it's overly-dramatic role reversal, but definitely a lovable interaction
I don't know about the others but the last episode reminded me of Tokyo ghoul
I haven't seen the last episode yet but if its the same scene as the little preview in ep 1 with the heavy snow, then YES! I thought the same exact thing
What if NJH is the reason we hate NDS so much the same way KSH is the reason we love jipyeong so much lol Because…
Yeah I've seen a lot of dramas with NJH, and for KSH, this is my second drama of his as I watched Strongest Deliveryman when it was on air.
To be honest, I've been very neutral with NJH's acting. I'd say the role he fit in most well with was with Weightlifting Fairy... The rest were meh or he just didn't stand out much.
For KSH on the other hand, he fit in with his character really well in SD that I was really intrigued when I found out that he was going to be in Start-Up (and he did not disappoint!) I won't lie that since I've been following along with updates regarding this drama when it was first announced last year, I did initially want to watch for Suzy and NJH, but only because they are "known" not cause of their acting abilities.
Although I mentioned all of the above, I think the character of NDS is what I hate the most, although NJH's acting may have contributed to the hatred slightly. Something about NDS irks me A LOT.
Was this really that bad? O_o I stopped at episode 5 because I got busy with stuff and cut down on some drama watch time... is it worth it to continue or nah? (Feel free to spoil I don't really care)
Well I guess you're one of the very very few here with those thoughts. Just drop it and move on to another...no…
I can understand that but he's also grown up too soon and too fast due to the situations that he was put through, hence there wasn't really a proper time for him to mature as a character. He's also mentally traumatized from all that he's been through. I get that most of his actions are rash and selfish, but they're justifiable due to his experiences (not saying that he's right). I personally know people in real life that do act like him so it is understandable and it's also one of the reasons why I love this show because I can see each character around me in real life. To each their own, I get why people don't like his character but life isn't all happy and perfect, and this really portrays it
(also I love anything that isn't "current day" and set in a different time, or inspired by something, which in this case is the notes as mentioned in the plot)
Myung Hee's was pretty creative tho ngl.
