I don't know about longcheng though its probably also from the south somewhere since Bai zhenzhu has an accent

in chinese characters its different, so not so confusing, i read the novel to understand as thigns are explained pretty well i novel

don't forget he's an enigma, they're pretty sensitive i think to these thigns as they're way more perceptive, they can hear things better than others for example. so maybe he just knows cause of this. another possibility is that one of his people found out about it as he did pretend that gao tu's sister is his sister and maybe they jsut found out like as a siq quest haha and maybe because he noticed that gao tu had changes when gao tu got affected by strong suppressing pheromones while he was suffering from his pheromone disorder

- if an enigma marks an alpha, that alpha becomes his alpha, can also get pregnant even though an alpha shouldn't be able to get pregnant as they are the ones making others pregnant. Beta are jsut normal people, they are barely affected by pheromones and all because they don't have a gland for this, betas also have low fertility
- an alpha cannot change into an omega, an alpha stays an alpha, but an enigma can make an alpha get pregnant. they don't change their secondary genders.
this story has suppressants which can suppress the pheromones and maybe even change the sccent of it as the scent of an omega and an alpha are very different
