This is Zhang zhun who didn't know that happened at all. He can take it to the extreme and think(again) that Zhen's feelings for him aren't real. This is also just another reason that he can use to say that they get out of character after the shooting's over. He kinda seems like he wants to find reasons to break up with him to pacify grandma and psycho gf so he can absolutely do that after this.

Actually that's their natural faces. They literally look like AI. If you saw them bare faced, like in their lives, they look the same there. In terms of body image they have to maintain one for their chinese fans, since they are their prime supporters. Shu yuan(who looks stiff) is still doing a great job even tho its literally his first major project, where he has to play two complex characters. He ofc performs better as Gao Zhun since he has more nuance to him. And in general, many would agree that he performs better than many of the actors and actresses in the chinese dramas that are currently popular.

I managed to watch today's episode without crying, tho I did tear up in that Gao Zhun scene, but they had me when Shu yuan started crying in today's live 😭😭 I was also crying with him! I hope both he and Ollie get the success they deserve and more!!

Me too. If you want, you can watch the bts of the episodes tho, they sometimes have extra scenes cut from them. That's how I'm coping anyway!

I saw one bts scene and there it seemed that he wasn't able to stop crying even after it ended. How someone so young can do method acting so well is beyond me..honestly many popular actors and actresses can't act the way he did for his first project!

Actually this is nothing. Gao has a lot of mental issues, and ofc they weren't solved with Fang's therapy, but worsened when he left him completely. He's lost now and this is really tame compared to what he does in the novel. And someone else's actions can't be blamed on him. Like he said to that random person, he is sick and can't be expected to make all the right decisions when he's vulnerable.

They'll shoot another drama next, according to the director.
