Yeah. 100% agree. Honestly people were comparing this with Payback and giving it low ratings, and I think that's not a fair comparison, since this is more about psychological issues and very character centric. Not all shows need to have nc scenes or more to be a good one. And even when they're talking to each other, we can feel the chemistry without them doing anything, so there's no complains there.

YES! I wish they'd show more of the juxtaposition between Gao and Zhang, these two definitely have a lot of similarities, but they haven't been explored enough yet! Even some personal life details are similar, and if those are shown it would convince the audience even more about why this show is named Deep In. Anyway with just 2 eps left I don't have high hopes but maybe we'll get something more later.

All I know is that this Xiao zou was the one who assaulted him in the car scene before, don't know if he already knew his identity then, or if it was just a random passerby in his eyes that he vented his frustration on..I know that in the novel Gao Zhun does sleep and even have a relationship with him, but the director cleverly changed that in this series with the idea that it was Zhen Xin who said he wanted to change their scenes, so that way they changed the direction a little this episode. Don't know what they'll show in the next one, but hopefully its not as triggering as ep 6.

I feel like Fang Chi has become more playful..as Lin lin thinks lol. I mean he was like that before but had this outward persona of arrogance, but now he's more sassy..like when he said ha ha and changed the subject when she was hitting on him..lmaoo I didn't expect that but it was pure gold! Also my girl Lin lin needs to catch on to this thing between ZX and ZZ, I'm sure she will if she saw them together! Another thing that happened before, when Gao Zhun was dancing and he saw his Dr. Fang..at first I felt like it was Zhang Zun who wanted his own doctor that's why he saw that..I didn't realise until I saw Justin that it was happening in the movie lol..truly blew me away how even I have started to get confused between GZ and ZZ! And finally, I'm happy they changed stuff in the novel for the better, some of what I was dreading to watch didn't happen! But another thing did so idk if that'll be shown in the next episode. I hope its not. And all the lines in this episode are just perfect, they hit really hard, both for the characters and the audience.

But idk if I've ever seen anything like that in chinese media before, atleast all the popular ones I've watched, so it makes sense the director might not know the word for it? 🤔I feel like Ollie should know tho, he's half american and definitely watches a lot of shows and movies outside of china to know what that means!

They didn't imply anything tho..the tattoos, matching passports,piercings, private trips, head on lap photos, might be performative or the persona they're showing to the fans, but some random moments that happened looked so natural, it'd be weird to think it was fanservice. Like they aren't that good at acting yet..Idk if they're dating or not, but to me some of it definitely didn't look like fanservice. Also whatever I mentioned still seems a lot, like they're doing too much..other cps also do some fanservice, but not like these two!

I agree. Tho I thought the scene of him beating that guy up was them as ZX and ZZ? Not FC and GZ? Also we do need more scenes with Danyi and Zhang but there's only three episodes left and I fear we won't get that resolution anymore..
