when you think about it, the "villains" were mostly just women trapped in a loveless marriage against their will who were trying their best to survive and ensure the survial or their family. Yeah, their means were extreme but not all is black and white

popular Chinese shows with popular and beautiful actors and idols are overrated*
otherwise nobody watches them, and if they do, they rate it 5/10 because ML isn't handsome or the leads don't kiss

I rated ut 9.5, someone else rated it 6.5, it evens out :) I absolutely loved it, my favourite TW drama and one of my very top dramas in general. I'm still looking for something in a similar vein but nothing comes even close. To each their own

The Devotion of Suspect X - I mean "Suspect X", the Japanese film (not the drama) is great and way more serious, if that's what you're looking for.
Galileo the show was decent but... meh at some points that made me fall out of love with it
