I would 99.9% of the time be rather caught dead than defend a man but some of you are really not looking at the CPR scene with culture in mind. There are lots of group chats, forums etc. in Korea where men share videos and photos of women secretly taken in public, and the fact of the matter is that seeing breasts uncovered in Korea is not at all common, which is why they were filming her. Some of you are saying she "wasn't dressed inappropriately at all" so Sanghyeon shouldn't have said that, but he didn't say or even imply that she was. He gave her his jacket and told her to cover up because he saw them recording her, not because HE thought she was being indecent. What other option did he have in that moment? Start fighting some guys while a person is literally getting resuscitated? Just giving her the jacket without saying anything would have made no sense to her either and would have made her confused. He removed her from the situation in the quickest and least disruptive way that he could have in that moment and then dealt with those guys later.
I'm on episode 3 and the premise is basically a human moving in with four handsome vampires and in order to be able to ethically drink his blood they cook for him and feed him to try and fatten him up?? š This is the funniest shit I've seen this year please I love it
me too, i really liked it, and the hate is too much. lol
Right? I don't get it. Most of the hate seems to be some form of "I didn't get it, it was confusing" or "the storyline was shabby" but like... so many good movies aren't strong on that front bc the focus is on the relationships between the characters, which imo was done really well here. I loved the dynamics and the cinematography was so good too
I'm so glad I didn't look at the reviews or even the score this movie got on mdl or any other site because it would've definitely given me a bias. I loved it and idc what anyone says lmao
I love Byeon Wooseok but idk I can't see him as Jinwoo? I just look at him and I don't buy the whole underdog thing lmao. I think someone with a more niche character/look would have been better. Actors like Park Jihoon, Lee Jaewook, Lee Dohyun or Choi Hyunwook come to mind. Might just be me though idk
I was surprised to find the creative director of this is the guy who directed D.P and Weak Hero?? Such a different genre but now my interest is piqued cause I LOVE those two shows. Might start watching it now. Bae Nara and Yoo Soobin being in it though hahaha the dude does love his cast.
No cause HOW did i miss this?? Was there even any hype around it? At first i thought it was the Offgun + Dew bl and got confused for a sec. So is Dew officially a gmm actor now?
These comments CAN NOT be real. Bro straight ppl still exist stop trynna replace them! There is no way in hell…
āStop trying to replace themā is such a reach. People are upset existing works need to be altered to include straight storylines in order to be marketable. Stop being dense on purpose
Apparently, it's how his character looks in the anime. I think he looks pretty good, even with the eye contacts.…
Noo I totally get what you mean, don't worry. It's annoying when studios change important bits, especially if you're a fan of the source material. I wasn't aware this was what he looked like in the manga as well, that's good to know because it makes me view the situation a bit more positively! I think I was just a bit annoyed at the beginning with the heavy makeup/contacts/his hair constantly in his eyes because he's such a pretty guy and I was looking forward to seeing him but I could barely recognize him haha. Now on ep 3 I'm getting used to it and I can kind of make out more of his natural features if that makes sense!

He looks sooo different! For me the contacts are a bit uncanny valley, idk what it is, the iris part might be too large? I think when it comes to cross-genre adaptations, the creators should figure out what to keep and what to change because what seems normal in one genre might come across as strange in an another. He's still so pretty though!
did seong hyeon actually had a crush on him for 12 years?i dont think so they prolly just met and forgot about…
I thought it was to counter Jaemin's statement that it wasn't Suhyeon or Seunghyeon who met him first but him. It was to show that Seunghyeon actually met him before the other guys.
Loved this. A few things take it from a 10 to a 9 for me though. The story was somewhat rushed, it could've definitely benefitted from 12 episodes instead of 8. I would've also liked to see just a little bit more nuance to the characters - especially Suhyeon and Seonghyeon. Suhyeon would've been easier to root for if he actually cared more about what Daon wanted. I think it would've made for a more complex and interesting story if instead of making him a more mild/not as crazy version of Jaemin, they'd have made it more difficult to choose between him and Seonghyeon. His character was written quite inconsistently. When it comes to Seonghyeon, I would've liked to see a sharper contrast to the other two love interests in terms of communicating in a healthy way. The "like me back because i like you" and the "I won't let you explain what happened even though this entire conflict could be avoided if i just let you speak" thing is getting a bit old for me lol. Buuuuuut I still loved it overall - I looked forward to Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, the storyline had me absolutely hooked from start to finish, and all four of them did so well. I've grown a bit attached to them and find myself wishing Korean BL couples also did multiple projects together like in Thailand haha.
