I watch romcoms too when I need to get my mind off things, don’t get me wrong. But for my favorite actors, I prefer to see them in dramas where they have room to act, and storylines with real emotional impact. Rom-coms don’t give me that, that’s why I’m glad Kangjoon is going to take on a more serious role in this. And when it comes to moral ambiguity, well. I like my characters human-like and complex. Again - to each their own.

I was looking forward to this one more than I did any other GMM series. Not Me was an unforgettable experience for me, one of the best dramas I've seen in any genre, so I couldn't wait for something from the same director. I love OffGun and I couldn't wait to see Dew in a BL. But it's left me disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high.

For me, most BLs have a very predictable endgame from the beginning. You almost always know from the way they choose to introduce each love interest and the interactions between them and ML. Even with just two episodes left, people are so divided about who they want Haram to end up with, and that means this BL has managed to be less predictable and cliche than most. Which to me is a good thing, even considering a lot of missed potential in other aspects.

I'm pretty sure I already said this here when the news of this series came out and I still don't think there's the slightest chance of it happening but wouldn't a proper poly relationship be so nice instead of a love triangle for once? If not that, can we at least get an OffGunDew threeway scene lmao
