I did not understand the last 10 minutes of the show.... I can guess who those guys in suits were who went to…
Thank you! I do have one more thing I'm confused about then. I hope you can help me clarify my thoughts:
If those men were at the wrong hospital, they are bound to keep looking for him. As long as he's alive, he will leave a trace behind somewhere and is bound to get caught. So meeting with Haeyoung and Soohyun won't make a difference. That kind of an ending (one where he gets caught) would completely take away from the show. The whole point in him surviving this long (in secrecy) is so that he doesn't ever get found - even once the floppy disk contents are revealed.
Also if he is about to meet them, it means the problems (ex: cases) are supposed to be solved. The walkie-talkie only worked when they needed to communicate across time to solve an issue (ex: save someone). Therefore, why would the walkie-talkie start working if he is safe and there are no issues?
I did not understand the last 10 minutes of the show.... I can guess who those guys in suits were who went to the hospital, but why was he not found? And it didn't show if Soo Hyun and Hae Young end up meeting him or not... Is the cycle of transmissions supposed to re-start?
Have the subs come out yet? I tried editing the .srt file I found online but there aren't even proper sentences or words to make a sensible line in English. It's hard to edit without much to work with...
I liked this show but honestly, it was nothing that great at all... It was kind of plain... I can't put my finger on what exactly it is missing, but I am sure it's missing something. There's nothing that makes it shine and it's missing the spark that makes a drama attractive. I watched it all the way until the end to see if something would come about... but there wasn't anything.
The music esp wasn't to my liking.
This show has been nothing less than amazing! I've been watching dramas for a while, so it's really difficult to come to this conclusion, but this drama is my 2nd favourite drama of all time.
The story was a little too twisted for me, but the acting and cast were great! I only watched it for Sato Takeru but all the characters turned out to be so interesting as the story evolved! I loved the science teacher~ she's so funny. This is one of those movies that shows Sato Takeru's growth as an actor. He isn't as good here as he is in his future shows.
I think the people who are badmouthing this drama are just upset with the ending. I kind of expected the ending…
No one forced you to watch the show till the end. Clearly this isn't a genre you enjoy so you should not have watched this. You've completed 19 dramas and have dropped 43... you're obviously really picky so don't talk as if you know so a lot about dramas. People who have seen more dramas and have been watching them much longer than you have rated this show well. I think you ought to actually watch more shows to figure out what you like/don't like and then take up shows. Don't criticize a drama unless you have something CONSTRUCTIVE to say... Examples of questions that might probe constructive thought: Where exactly does the plot/ writing need to improve? In what way was the show/ were the actors lacking? Etc..
This drama was excellent however I'm giving it a 9.5/10. I enjoyed the plot and the acting of all the characters. However the father's character made me feel sick, scared and disgusted. I think his role was the only one I seemed to have a problem with... esp after finding out why their mother did what she did. I mean I know that was the role of the character but it sickened me to a point of no return. I just wanted the drama to end because I couldn't handle the stuff they kept revealing about the father.
I think 7.9 is a sad rating for such a good drama. This is one of the oldies and should be viewed in the context of the time when it was released-- without being compared to contemporary dramas. It's at least a 9/10 imo.
I think the people who are badmouthing this drama are just upset with the ending. I kind of expected the ending to be the way it was from the time Toma whispered in the child's ear "I took care of the bad guy" in the first case.
The plot is actually very well thought out and each episode is well scripted. The acting was superb and I'm glad the show didn't have a cliche ending because that would have really upset me.
The soundtrack for this show is also very addictive! I can't stop listening to the song called "Sakura" (by Arashi). Overall, I would rate this a 10/10 (I don't give out 10s easily).
This show started off well, and ended of "meh". But the laughs make it worth an 8/10 I'd say. It was…
I think Momoe's character is so rare! I haven't seen (m)any dramas where a girl is obsessed with BL and ends up acting in such a hilarious way. And the match with Arthur is just perfection! He's a playboy but can't seem to understand this one particular girl because of her crazy fantasies! XD
This show started off well, and ended of "meh". But the laughs make it worth an 8/10 I'd say. It was just downright hilarious! The cast was very well picked. Each character played their role well. The plot wasn't great, but the acting was fantastic. If not for this cast, I think the show would have had poorer ratings. Oddly enough, I started it for Ishihara Satomi, not Yamapi but I ended up liking them both.
And was anyone else rooting for Arther and Momoe? OMG THEY WERE THE CUTEST! Absolutely loved those two!~ XD
What a wonderful series! I loved Toshiko from the moment they introduced her character. She was so understanding,…
I watched it all in one day because the story was so gripping. I loved Toshiko but I also loved his older brother. <3
His brother played such an important role in terms of how he developed. I think one of the biggest influences in his life that actually listened to him and lead him properly along the path he wanted to follow. Their father was too harsh on Tokuzo... always driving him out. lol
I'm on episode 6 and so far, I LOVE ALL the characters EXCEPT for the main male lead. I just hate Tokuzou so much! His brother is doing everything he can for him, his wife did everything she could and his parents and Usami-san did too. However, he just repays everyone's goodness with shit. He is so spoiled by the love he gets from everyone... it's just irritating me more and more each episode!
