If possible, I'd like to suggest Tonhon Chonlatee for the fascinating character dynamics (spoilers ahead).
It's really not a good show, but it is fascinating. If I recall correctly, the two side characters (Ai and Nai) have a strange relationship with a girl who ships them (Miriam) that feels very queerplatonic (it's very obviously playing off of yaoi fangirl tropes where they're a gay couple and she's somewhat fetishistic of that, but they seem to just become a sort of group of the couple + her in the narrative). Also she becomes a surrogate for the love interest (Tonhon) even though he's in a relationship with the main character (Chonlatee) because his father wants grandchildren.
Anyways... Idk if suggestions are something you are looking for. If not, please just delete this/ask me to delete it (idk how it works).
When I started this show I thought it would just be classic Thai BL with a silly plot, university setting and lots of "comedic" sound effects, and it is, but it's also managed to take basically the best of that genre and compile it into one giant, stress-free ball of cuteness
It's not about expectations for dramas. I was commending it for being different in a way which highlights healthy relationship practices. It's not that I don't like regular dramas, it's just that this one did something I liked for a different reason
This was the only love-shape that I can endure. One where the guy who is nice and respectful about boundaries is chosen by a girl who knows what she wants.
