I feel like this is getting worse with each episode.
Episode one was mindless, sometimes funny, otherwise cringe. Episode 2 was a bit better - more funny, less cringe, some development.
Episodes 3 and 4, though? There was some story, but it didn't interest me. Humor goes back to mostly cringe. The clichés don't work on me in this one. I liked the "painting nail" part, but then they had to overdo it. Mostly it was just boring, enough for me to start fast-forwarding through it (which I rarely do 😥). It gets repetitive on the relationship development, with some plot angst on the side to seem progressing somewhere. Probably not my type of drama.
I'll put this on hold for a bit, to see if it gets better. Otherwise it's a drop.
I still like this. It's very basic, the plot was drawn with broken pencil and we can't talk about stellar acting either, but it's very easy and enjoyable to watch. It relies on multiple clichés stacked on top of each other, but it manages to present them in interesting ways! Sometimes even putting their own spin on it, e.g. the whole Baiwan subplot.
So far, I prefer this over Future and ABOB (and it's nowhere near as bad as LS3 and Chains of Heart either in my opinion, though those aren't exactly comparable). It's my favorite thai drama releasing right now!! Probably because I'm shallow and tired of the shows that are trying to look "deeper", only to fail miserably 💜

This was good, but not great. Worse than I expected to be honest, especially after strong first episodes and generally good reactions from people.
The plot is just kinda uninteresting, flat and fractured. It started really well with the premise and initial conflicts, but then it turned into this weird roadtrip where stuff happens and gets resolved almost immediately? That would have worked well as a comedy in my opinion (with a bit of bitterness), but this one wasn't it. I felt like we were sidetracking constantly from what I expected to be the main plot at first. And still, some things were left off unresolved.
Characters were pretty good, though! I wish they had more time to develop naturally, rather than being forced to move forward in smaller pieces. But overall I liked the MLs and their dynamic.
In the end, this is a sort of 8-8.5 drama for me. Interesting, but nothing that impactful. I believe they would have done better leaving some stuff out and just focusing on the main leads (or making it longer and stretched out).
Is this bad? Yes. Is this so bad it's good? Not yet 😔
The music is getting there, as is the acting at times. But the plot needs more drama! The characters should be stronger! Whoever thought this Kim-Kamol was an upgrade over UN, they were very wrong.

This took me so freaking long to finish! Like, multiple months of mostly train rides watching. Thankfully, I got fairly peaceful 5 hour ride today and decided to finish it 🧡
It sure is pretty, though. Yoon Oh is adorable in just any mood, and rather than sad I got kinda angry at the end that I won't see more of him. But the overall aesthetics were also good!

One more thing that isn't specific to this BL and is mainly a note to translators: english has these nice genderless words like "lover" or "partner". I highly doubt all of them college boys are mentioning "boyfriends" by default. You can also use "they/them" pronouns instead of "he/him" or "she/her" when the gender isn't specified. Like, it's not that hard! And it looks really weird this way, more so even when you misgender someone. So consider changing it. Bonus points if you stop with the wifey/bottom comments. I'm getting sick of if.
Overall, this wasn't completely worthless. And in the mood I'm in right now, I'll eat up any fluff that's at least watchable. But as it's releasing alongside objectively superior "A Boss and a Babe" and "Past-Senger", it's probably not worth starting for most people 💜
