The whole time I was just waiting for something *extra* to happen, something that would have made it stand out among all else. And it didn't come. The plot was average, with fairly basic conflict at the end. And it was yet another office BL where what they do doesn't hold much weight. The characters weren't that unique or strong, either. I know it's only 2 hours, and you can't make a superdeep drama in such short time. But there are similarly short BLs that manage to leave its mark. This one? I'll probably forget about soon.
That all said, it's not a bad BL. I especially liked the little outros, and how naturally light the intimacy seemed between MLs. It's easy to watch as a binge. Rating it, it fits somewhere around the 8 mark. And so 8 it will get π
They used my least favorite trope in the end, but despite that it was pretty good. Let's say 8.5 for now and see how I feel about it later. Actors were great (especially Ritsu), story not that special. Technical side okay. Would recommend everyone to at least try if you're free π
I like to see my characters suffer, and TMS2 was perfect for that π
Blueming I kinda forced myself to finish, it was getting boring so I was taking breaks from it. But I might rewatch it ifwhen there is a second season, so maybe I'll change my mind! π
One thing I have to give Destiny Seeker: their product placements look certainly more delicate than the usual mix of cosmetics, drinks, supplements, junk food and inhalers.
One thing that come to my mind while watching episode 3: Do we really need to pair up all of the guys just to clear things up?
Like, we all know Ai-Songkhram is gonna be the endgame. But then there's Meen (who Ai thinks Song is after) and the other guy (Pipe? Who's after Ai). It's just very obvious and a little bit too convenient that those remaining two will also end up together. I see the benefits from writer's point of view (you can use the screentime around first couple to make background for the side couple, those characters would naturally get more popular since they have more screentime and "deserve" someone also, it's easier to clear up the drama when you already have substitutes...), but it gets kinda boring and uninspired. Too safe. Too template-y. It also takes away the more unique setting for side couple, since they get characterized in relation to the main couple. And if you only use 2 couples, making them more separate is feasible imo.
[Ok, I got to the part where they make it canon. Obvi.]
Watching this right after Pastsenger wasn't the best idea π
But it turned out to be a good K-BL in the end! Not as good as Once Again, but still way above average. 8.5 I'd say. Or it would have been, if not for the ending. It quickly dropped to weaker 8.0 then. I suggest you stop watching near the end of episode 6 (you'll understand when) and come up with a conclusion of your own π
I swear, like good 70 % of this episode just showed characters sitting at some table. And episode 1 wasn't that much better in this regard.
What even is their relationship??? They're moving so fast and oddly, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a wedding episode next week! Thankfully the show is so short, otherwise there would have to be a whole lot of drama to fill the space.
Despite how low-budget it looks, they still manage to get a sports car to ML. Because it wouldn't be a BL without teenagers having at least one π
Is the gaga version super cut cut, or is the editing just that bad? I swear there was one transition at the bed scene that made me whip my head. And the flashback out of nowhere... Not that there is much of a consistent story either way. Sound mixing feels hollow at times, as if they were recording from different room or under water. And I'm not wasting my braincells to try and describe that hillarious blur. They sure weren't looking for better words when talking about wives and child r@pe.
I should watch this drunk. Maybe then I wouldn't care about all these oddities. Even the story might make more sense to the wasted me π
And despite all of this, I'll continue to watch. Because it's cute, and I already put ABOB on hold. This one at least isn't pretending to be something more than preprocessed ~2018 fluff (abridged version).
I would have been surprised, too! π¦π¦π¦
The more you know... π

That said, thank you for teaching me something new! π
Forget the shirt, what about his wet pants? ππ
The sauce πππ
And P'Ai, as the proper uke, must swim fully clothed π
Ok, nevermind. I made it weird with them undressing him π
What's wrong with these boys, showering in their pants??
[I swear I'm not a pervert, but who the hell does that?]
I couldn't focus on the climax because of her π₯

What's yours? π

[And here goes pairing number 3 (I guess)]

I'm pretty sure he did it just to get rid of the outfit π
Let's see if ear-kiss becomes the korean highfive πΆ
I know Past-senger isn't a 9.0 drama! It objectively can't be!! I mean, where's the plot??! πππ
And yet... it's climbing in my rankings pretty steadily π
Step-brother. So I was half-right! But it doesn't reject the lover hypothesis entirely.... π
I'd marry Bamee just for the stargazing corner. Doesn't matter if he's poor π₯Ί
There is a perfectly functional couch on the other side of the room!
Give this guy a cute boyfriend someone, I don't want him to create additional drama for our couple-to-be π°
Wow, it's getting deep deep.
This girl! Do we really need another homewrecker??
π€£π€£π€£π€£
I'm sure that was calculated. (#MoodaengPlawan)
What a waste indeed.
That's not friendly of you, Bamee!
That was rude.
Go!! Run to Kiew, Bamee! πππ
Stupid Bamee. You could have gone to your husband-to-be π₯Ί
As it should be.
Other than that, same old, same old. Might be watchable if it doesn't annoy me much.
