I thought that e-books are usually the same price regardless of currency (around 5-10 USD I think?) You're just downloading it, so they don't have to worry much about shipping/taxes granularly (same as with PC games. There could be some differences based on region, but it's usually minor). It can still be a lot, especially if you're buying more than one book at a time. But compare it to 15+ USD for book only and who knows how much they dare to ask for shipping, it's still a better deal for me.
I'm pretty sure that if they make an e-book version, there will be a pirated copy circulating around in little to no time if that's your preference π
I would probably rather buy an e-book. Not only it should be way cheaper, you don't have to worry about shipping (which is a nightmare where I come from) and it doesn't take up much space (I have too many books that are just heavy dust-collectors at this point).

Second episode: They're giving up on the relationship. The ending scene : Showing us how they worked through a minuscule problem that appeared to be way bigger from Han Ji Woo's POV.
There's just too much dissonance between what's happening inside the episode, and what's shown in the post-credit scene. They never let you rest π
After episode 10, the plot got way more chaotic than before. KinnPorsche feels stale to me for some reason. KimChay has a sword hanging over their heads, which makes their scenes all the more bittersweet. And VegasPete finally started, I guess π€

So... the ex gf drama. Not a fan of it. So far, it has little to no meaning for the overall plot other than jealousy arc. That said, inviting Kangseo Joon to her welcome back party was rude, even without the "love triangle" subplot.
Kangseo is serving broken-hearted so well I'm getting emotional here on my own.
And the ending... I truly hope this is a "we're making up" kiss and not "I slipped but will go back to cold exterior" one.
1. Both Gagaoolala and Viki address the main characters by their second names, while the audio uses their first names. Such dissonance can get annoying.
2. Very rarely, I believe the "background noise" conversations arenβt translated, even when no one important is talking. I only noticed it in the last episode, so it might not be much of an issue.
3. Minor spoiler for episode 5 β the main lead slips and falls down. The other main lead says something that Viki translated as : "Are my muscles too much?" Gagaoolala suppossedly uses: "Did I polish the floor too much?", which makes much more sense in that situation.
4. Now for the big boy [major spoiler for episode one].
The phrase Fukuhara uses during the ending scene (δ»γεγ£γ¦ζ¬²γγγͺ, " Tsukiatte hoshΔ« na") has a meaning along the lines: "I was hoping we could go out." or "I wish we could date." (google literally translates it as: "I want you to go out with me.") The phrase is often used in japanese media when shy female protagonist confesses to the main male lead and I think itβs even considered a trope between manga and anime fans.
Original subtitles on Viki said the same thing as google translate when the first episode aired. Soon after, they've changed it to "I was hoping we could stay together always," which is more ambiguous regarding Kotaβs intentions. Not sure what subs Gagaoolala had on release date, but right now it says "I hope you'll be with me forever." So, it's also unclear. For episode 3, Viki changed the translation to: "I hope we could be good friends." They use this translation for the rest of the show. Unofficial IrozukuSubs consistently translate the phrase as: "I want you to go out with me."
My main issue with the latest Viki translation is that it takes the blame away from Fukuhara and puts it all on Shinomiya, to the point some people might get confused how Shinomiya could have misunderstood Fukuhara so much. The second translations are a bit more equivocal, though still not strong enough to create a believable misunderstanding in my opinion. Iβm not sure what intention the creator had when writing the source manga, but personally, I much prefer the original translation.
