After finishing episode 9, now I understand why it didn't end with episode 8.
I think it's a pretty great show so far. Certainly refreshing. The pacing is a bit off, but it should feel way better if you're binging it.
It's riding the line between ridiculous and realistic so well, in the end it's fairly believable. The problems it tackles are very well presented and not just cliche misunderstanding stuff. I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone, but at the very least, it's worth trying imo.
"Why do all the characters have to be straight(ish)? "[Disclamer : No attack meant towards any fan, actor or character.]This,…
I would say no one expects actors to actually date them, It's more about keeping "the dream" intact. They would be mostly fine imo with the show's couple becoming official, because it's part of the dream (but they don't really expect that to happen, that's why the other lead is sort of a safe substitute if that makes sense). I'm sure actors would still get backlash if they dated other guys, similarly to the backlash they get for having girlfriends (especially if that other guy isn't a part of new "pairing").
I agree that the female treatment is completely unnecessary and regressive. I'm just saying it's still there, most likely as a remnant of the past principles . And I expect it to partially stay there, at least for a few more years. I wish we would move past that already. But there are still BLs being made that feel like from 2016.
really need someone to explain something to me ? does the time reset everyday ? so then why does he trust him…
It doesn't reset every day, it resets each time Tol dies. Not sure how many times it was already (4? 5?), but they have longer periods of time for later loops (this one should last around a week in the show's world). Tol doesn't "remember" stuff from past loops, but he has some remaining feelings, memory flashes, dreams.... so it should be easier for Tin to get close to him each succeeding loop.
How are we gonna fill that time?WED- Dear doctor.FRI- Plus &Minus, Mr unlucky and Sky in my heart.Sat- KinnPorsche…
Same. I'm still keeping up with KP when I can, but I can't say I'm looking forward to it each week. Not up to date with Plus and Minus yet, might binge it instead.
I really like this show, but hear me out. WHAT is BL's obsession with girlfriends? When is it ever going to end?…

This, in my opinion, is still a byproduct of the Y era. Meaning main leads in BL are made to represent perfectly straight and potentially dateable guys for the straight female audience, who just happen to fall in love (or lust, or bromance) with the other male leads. That's why we get so many leads (characters) of unclear sexuality. That's why actors sometimes say stupid stuff when asked about their sexuality. They must be seen as "available" to sell the dream for straight female fans, but also can't be seen homophobic (since BL has increasingly more queer fans and allies). I think as BLs are evolving, we will see less of it in the future.
[mild fandom drama ahead] It's also tied to the fanservice and shipping stuff. Recent example I've heard of is a video of OG 2moons actors mentioning they had a rule of no LGBTQ+ actors on set of 2moons1 . I'm not keeping up with such stuff because it's messy and you can't tell what's true or not, but there's been enough of it for me to believe at least some of that is true.
As for Dream, I'm not even sure if she's really Tin's ex, or Tin just said that to make Tol jealous. So there's some hope, I guess π
I doubt he will die from that, but I expect at least one more reset. The Varit situation seems too messy for me…
I think it will actually make it harder, since now the doctor knows someone knows. They lose the element of surprise.
Who would you believe at first? Respected doctor or a "lunatic" that comes armed into hospital and injures staff? If they even launch an investigation based on that person's accusation, it will be slow and give dr. Sak time to hide evidence better / frame someone / run away...
If instead Tin and others confronted it once they have enough of a proof, it would be way harder for dr. Sak to leave unscathed.
There is something I noticed when I was rewatching the episode. Tawan said to Kinn: "You know you have a mole…
I think it's because someone tried to kill Tawan in the cell (poisoning his water). Since Kinn apparently wasn't behind it (he saved Tawan, after all), it makes sense someone wanted Tawan dead so he can't give Kinn the information. Hence, the mole.

Not his absence of kidney. His uncle storming the hospital screaming dr. Sak stole Rit's kidney. I doubt they can move past that without major problems.
I was really shocked when Tin told him all that over the phone I think telling it was a dream is necessary to…
I guess that's up to interpretation/translation. He said something along the lines : "It was just a dream." Which, it was a dream. But it also happened before.

Cue the bed scene:
"Can I stop it? π³"
"What a cute fluff this is shaping up to be! π"
Me, finishing episode 1:
"I've been ridiculed and betrayed π"

My heart, not so much π

The show's name's deceiving.
